Oh this is a great find! I know of a few games where saving and loading isn't allowed in ILs but my personal preference would be to allow it. I think we allow it for now but if people come forward wanting IL boards to be split between No SLA and SLA then we can do that then.
Interesting find! I think allowing SLA in ILs is probably a good idea.
Do you think if you were to cut the rope attached to the boat and then save and reload, would it skip the wait for the boat drifting to the edge of the lake? I can't test it until I get home from work.
A couple more spots this might work is giving the immortal guy the spotted fish, as we currently have to wait til he finishes eating it and dies to get his head. And then also giving the cat the poisonous fruit. Just a couple other ideas.
If you save and load in CherryBlossom the boat will be teleported at its starting position next to the island (that's not exactly what you want). For the skeleton or to poison the cat, it simply doesn't work. It'll be as if you never give them an orange fish or the fruit.
