@Taffy_TA The game rules state that you can not play on a snapshot or any other version of Minecraft that's not a full release unless stated otherwise, 1.16 included. As for Optifine, it has been banned indefinitely for versions 1.16+. You may use sodium as an alternative. :)
Are there any public servers that let you make multiplayer rsg speedruns?
Mainly the fact that not all RSG runners have practiced the strat, and you also need obsidian to perform it, which you don't get 100% of the time. Most people that run RSG are also confident in their normal one cycle skills, and will always make sure to have enough beds. If you want to do it, there's nothing stopping you, but the main reason the SSG strats were developed is to save beds, not time.
Out of sheer curiosity, why was optifine banned from 1.16+? I understand there are alternatives, which is fine, I'm just confused as to why it was singled out.
hey so I wanted to ask, is a custom crosshair mod considered an advantage?
I've got a question about RSG co-op. I wanna play some Duo speedruns with my brother via "Open to Lan". Is it allowed to open the world after I already moved, so I can look if the seed is playable and my brother don't has to join every world?^^
Okay, I've got another question: Open to Lan does not work for some reason, the world isn't shown at his Mincraft. Firewall is disabled and we're both connected to the same WLAN. Are there any other things we could do? Also, it already worked in the past.
@KingContaria, no clue why open LAN isnt working, ur using hamachi right? Also, u may read the coop rules, which will explain the rules and when u may move before timing starts.
@Pooply No, we're not using hamachi, we're just connected to the same WLAN^^
And with the movement question: I would start the timer when I start moving, it's just that my brother would join later, after timing started.
Start timer when you do /time set 0. Your brother can join whenever
Is it allowed to look around with F5 Mode(without moving the mouse) while the chunks are loading before starting the timer?
I believe it's allowed, but the in-game timer will count that time, so it might be better to pause the game while the chunks load, if that makes sense.
Im pretty sure the mods can choose themself how long you are allowed to stand still without pausing before time starts. Standing still and using F5 to look around for a few sec is starting is allowed, but not for much longer. Correct me if im wrong.
