i am in agreeance with garland that sega cd runs should have only 1 category. otherwise there would be way too many categories on the leader board and not enough competitors. the only reason there is a category for the sega cd in the first place is because that version of the game is significantly different than the genesis version.
sorry everyone, i do not get notifications when someone posts in the forum. i received an email today saying that a run was rejected, this alerted me to check out what was going on. from what i can see, i am happy that garland is now a mod, for i am unable to identify TAS runs and have no experience on how they operate or how they look even though i watched the TAS run in its entirety.
i dont understand why there is not a category for an actual game completion. has no one here ever beaten this game before or what?
this thread will come in handy in running the N64 version
i believe brendon has found a skip for the N64. let me see if we can record it and post it here.
so sorry tjbarrett96. we will work more on the N64 asap. brendon is still working on a 100% run. we recorded him performing glitches on the N64 that i will have him post shortly.
i dont understand the timing for the level runs. when do i start and stop the time.
i just submitted some times but they are all done on time trial difficulty. can that difficulty be added as a selection please?
attention runners. im thrilled to see so many runners for golden axe and watching the leaderboard flourish. i will be away for a week so i wont be able to verify any scores right now. but please keep sending them in if you guys want. i will get to them all when i get back. thank you.
if so. the answer is no because the fact of the matter is that whether you die or not is already being measured in the runs. if you die, it is already calculated in the time because it causes the run to be slower. so making a category for a deathless run will still output the same results on the leader board. the only difference would be that there would be less players which would defeat the purpose of making the category in the first place.
what do you mean? are you saying to add a category for a deathless run?
leader board issue has been resolved.
