Texas, USAI have added a super nintendo category by request. this category is meant to be a temporary category until a full game leaderboard can be made.
there is a significant time difference in loading screens between console and emulator. nothing will be done about this until we have enough runners on the board and someone with enough knowledge about emulation speeds and console speeds to add as a mod. what is known is that running this on emulator is faster than the psone and the ps2 set to fast disk speed. once there are enough runners and we get an expert in place, the categories most likely will be separated by platform
leaderboard will be under maintenance for awhile, runs will appear to be misplaced or missing entirely but this is only temporary, will post an update as soon as update is finished.
my level runs have been sitting for 2 months. all the mods have been online since then and a record for this game has just been verified. i need a good reason of why my level runs have not been verified.
my level runs keep getting rejected because my timing is incorrect. im using avidemux. not sure if i need something better than that. im not sure how im getting the timing wrong. its extremely hard to tell when the entire screen is white because it fades into the level.
please let me know if anyone has any concerns about the categories for this game, if the leaderboard should have different or more categories or if the current categories should be removed or different. open to any ideas, thank you.
can the game boy player be added for a platform? it runs at the same speed and i would like to run the game on it.
i would like to run the master system version but i only see a category for NES.
what steps need to be taken to remove a run that has no video evidence? the super mod of contra the alien wars put the time on the leaderboard that is not attached to a profile. the run is not viewable for whatever reason. i have posted about this in the game's forum but was not responded to by any of the mods even though they have been online since then. https://www.speedrun.com/contrathealienwars
a series/game request should be denied if someone submits a segmented run of the game. the reason i feel that this is a problem is because the series mod for the blade series has turned the blade II leaderboard into an un-runnable leaderboard with garbage full game categories. the current full game categories are: segmented, NG+, and cheat%. i just want to run the game normally but there isnt a category that supports this. the segmented category is being show cased which is ridiculous. on top of that, the rules for the level leader board states that only PAL can be submitted yet the leaderboard goes off of IGT so it shouldnt matter what frame rate is being used. this leaderboard is complete trash. there needs to be a rule set in place that states that segmented runs cannot be used to submit for new series or game requests. i feel like this will help with making leaderboards worth running. i was going to run blade 2 but now i dont even want to anymore.
we have runners that are not hitting their timers correctly. because of this, every run will now be frame by framed for accuracy and the rules for timing will now be on character control and last blow to zok.
rules have been edited to allow emulated runs for original mode. i personally frame by frame all genesis runs and will easily be able to detect a game being ran at a different speed. if any runs are ran at a different speed than original hardware, then it will be rejected. if any current mods have any input on this matter, please respond.
why are all the arcade runs under the "other" tab instead of under the" arcade tab? the "other" category is for Metal Slug Complete PC Version and Metal Slug Anthology Version(s). this is stated in the rule sets.
my blackbird runs show up under the pappilon% categories. however my notifications tell me that there is a blackbird% that my runs went to but when i look at the leaderboard, i see no blackbird% category anywhere. what is happening?
i would like to run the xbox360 version of bare knuckle III. is it possible to add this version?
