Here I did a my version of 4:54.03 TAS where I did visual slowings, but didn't lose time. I hope it is nice thing. For more information read description of the video. Also I make little show of slowmotion highlights. I hope you will enjoy.
This is the best TAS Video I have ever seen, but is it possible to lower it more by doing 8-3 FPG?
"This is the best TAS Video I have ever seen" -NathanAlmighty Is this the first TAS you have ever seen?
Framerule is a pretty hilarious system to TAS against.
Also good job on tying the TAS, it might be a good TAS exercise.
@Lul_ecks_dee. If you mean entering pipe in 4-2 underground, it is save time, because backward slowing is faster. But I think it is possible to do it faster with left+right. And entering warp zone pipes is really hard and important also. And I also think that it can be faster, but not matter for framerule.
Also without framerule system Super Mario Bros TAS could be at least 42 frames faster (0.7 second). I can't tell you exact count, because I think that I can't get some boss frames, which are not matter for framerule.
@zdroviy_antony can I email you a link to a download for my TAS. I can't get 1-2g to work. It is on FCEUX and a SMB1/Duck Hunt Rom.
Of course you can, if you want private message, you can send me message to the twitch or to zdoroviy.antony@gmail.com. I will try to help you. I also had big problems with this clip.
No I meant the turnaround at the very end of 4-2, where people usually jump against the wall, but tases turnaround instead. Can that save time for humans? If not, can it still get the framerule?
The TAS turn round using left+right. HappyLee saved framerule without it on first possible frame, but I don't know how to it. I really don't know about real time runs, but I think that it can't save time really.
K thanks, I still haven't figured it out, but I am now trying on BizHawk, so if I need help I'll email you.
Effective immediately, any submissions using the SNES9x emulator will not be verified. The SMB1 mod team has concerns about its integrity due to its ability to overclock and remove lag frames, which may not be easily detectable. Additionally, we request that all BizHawk submissions avoid using the S
