It isn't too difficult to set up, I suggest jumping to the second block of the stairs then immediately save stating, but don't pause, since pausing changes the framerule if you want to also see what 8-3 is like if you get BBG, fail BBG, get failed FPG BBG.
In all honesty, you should probably make sure you can do 8-2 consistently to get the bbg setup, and get the save state from there, before trying the actual bbg
@xx_420_blazit_xx I would like to add this to resources, but idk how. Do you? I think it could be useful. Like if I lost two framerules over my PB I would probably go for it.
I wouldn't go for sockfolder, I would go for mavpole, since it just estimation, vs frame perfect inputs.
Yeah but it still has the last 2 frame perfect inputs, which are the hardest in my opinion, the first part is pretty easy, you just do a very well timed jump to land on first pixel then you don't hold sprint then you hold sprint the next frame and then you jump after 2 frames, then easy set up FPG. Mavpole is like git lucky, and i'm not very good at getting lucky. If you practice it and get a feel for it then it is easy. The first part I mean.
Effective immediately, any submissions using the SNES9x emulator will not be verified. The SMB1 mod team has concerns about its integrity due to its ability to overclock and remove lag frames, which may not be easily detectable. Additionally, we request that all BizHawk submissions avoid using the S
