I found this seed while looking for a near spawn seed for bedrock and they told me i should show this to you guys!
This is pretty cool; But I'd recommend putting this in the Minecraft Bedrock forums https://www.speedrun.com/mcbe/forum
Thanks for showing us, but we are literally the people who found this seed and all the other 12 eye seeds.
I already did but they said you only can use it on java cause in bedrock 12 eye doesn't exist. And your welcome.
...do they actually know bedrock 12 eye doesn't exist for a fact or were they just basing that off the fact that one almost certainly doesn't exist?
in bedrock each world generates an "infinite" amount of strongholds so i would say the chances of there being a 12 eye are very high but the closest one being a 12 eye? chances of that are very low.
They know for a fact that they programmed it so 12 eye can't exist in bedrock.
if that is true then that sure is interesting since mojang previously in java fixed a glitch where 12 eyes didnt activate.
I said bedrock btw not java. Yes it is available in java.
The world doesn't generate an infinite amount of strongholds. So how stronghold generation works in bedrock is that there's 3 that generate in a triangle centered around spawn, like in pre-1.9 java. But then the game generates strongholds completely randomly, not based on seed (so these strongholds will always be different when you create a world even if you use the same seeds). And these strongholds generate until there are 128 total strongholds in the world (counting the three in the triangle). Then it stops generating them. At least that's how I understand it. Also I'm pretty sure that there isn't a 12 eye on bedrock. There's only 2^32 seeds on bedrock, so on any given version there's only a 66% chance that there is an existing 11 eye seed. At least that is correct if I did the math right (and if the way strongholds work is different to java). So don't take my word on the whole 11 eye thing. But if I'm correct, then there'd be such a low chance that a 12 eye would exist that it probably isn't a thing in bedrock. There's just not enough seeds
huh okay, i just thought that the world continued generating strongholds indefinitetly since it appeared that the stronghold density was the same out at 30 million blocks as it is at 5 million or 0. ill have to investigate further.
