I found a seed in minecraft when trying to speedrun random seed glitchless on 1.16.3. I found a seed that has a really good overworld, with a village nearby and a lava pool right next to spawn. The nether though, isnt as great. Would it be possible for someone to change this seed in a way that the only change is the nether?

Really cool, but there are two things; First one: you are playing on a version higher than 1.16.1, which means it has nerfed pearls trade. (I suggest you to play 1.16.1) Second one: the seed is not a 12 eye, so it isn't really good for SSG.

@BlueSamurai, I don't know if you understand the concept of a "set seed" in Minecraft speedrun, but here it is. In a set seed speedrun, u MUST have a 12 eye portal. Why? well, that's bc it's the fastest way to beat the game on a SET SEED. Therefore, if the portal room does not have a 12 eye, it is automatically NOT a good set seed. It takes time to get blaze rods and pearls, which is obv not the quickest way. I hope that clarifies everything

The seed doesnt have better overworld than the current one by far so it doesnt matter

They are called sister seeds if I recall, but pretty much like Lezzy above mentioned, you can't get a better overworld than the current one, therefore no

Is the current ssg seed 1 in quintillion or even rarer than that?

I believe the current ssg seed is 1 of the 2^64 seeds, and is not one that is able to be randomly generated.

Yeah I know but I'm just wondering how many seeds have been searched and if there is even a possibility of a better seed.

every single 12-eye portal seed in 1.16 has already been found and vetted. The current SSG seed in use is the fastest one in existence for all 1.16 seeds.

the reason i made this forum is because u didnt see any speedruns for the current 1.16 ssg. so i wondered if they were still looking for a seed. thanks andyway for your help

there are a ton of runs wdym look in SSG 1.9-1.15 those contain 1.16 runs aswell

They just don't have 1.16 ssg in the 1.16 category, it is in the 1.9-1.15 category for ssg.
