Hi, I just got a PC and was wondering if anyone knew the emulator Niftski uses for his runs or any other popular emulator for super mario bros. I've been looking for about an hour and can't find any good emulators that I know are safe. Thnx!

I use OpenEmu and I believe niftski uses nestopia but I could be wrong

Niftski currently uses the Nestopia UE version. I highly recommend looking at the allowed emulators in the rules and try those out. Personally tho, I recommend Nestopia UE

I have FCEUX but I don't know how to legally play the game on it. Could someone please help.

We are not allowed to distribute ROMs on speedrun.com but you can search for them

@helpimadog "legally" you would have to buy a real NES and game lmao, nintendo is more, roms are ilegal to share but just search "super mario bros usa rom"

fceux can be a little laggy i find so i use nestopia
