it is just people figuring out that 1.16 have far more playable overworlds, ocean, village, cave, desert, ruined portal and jungle temple, as long as u can enter nether with an iron pick and some food you are good to go, the bastion strat is the ideal because it allows blindtravel and pearls plus fire resist
