So a runner named Hayden has a run in mushroom, flower, and banana cup. In all three of these runs, Hayden appears to be playing in time trial mode and not VS nor GP mode. To do something like this, evidently he just doesn't understand the rules. However, I'm wondering how the hell this could possibly make it through moderation not one, not two, but three times. This shows that the videos aren't even being remotely looked at which is frustrating. Something obviously needs to be done about this.
Wow, I knew this game wasn't moderated too well compared to other games, but my god that is some sheer laziness right there.
Hehe, just watched it my self you can tell straight away as it has his best time at the bottom right for the course
Are you serious? This concerns me more that it wasn't only one mod, but TWO mods who approved these runs. It's not hard to spend 5 seconds looking at the video. Right away you can tell it's not an actual run. I feel like this isn't the first time false runs were just stupidly approved no issue too. I'm kinda questioning half the mods of this game..
Exactly man. Something needs to be done about the moderation for this game. They also have a tendency of not creating the unlock everything although multiple runs have been done with it.
oh man, that scared me when I saw this post, cause my name is Hayden however, it's not me. I just follow the games ;) but wow that is really eye opening to the mods hopefully.
I don't play this game much anymore, but this is not something I would ever expect. I thought the mods would at least make and attempt to see if runs like this followed the rules. It's completely understandable to not watch a run in it's entirety if it's over an hour, but at least skim through the run. I thought TheCrazyCroco and NinjasInCarpets were more responsible than this. We need more mods that know what they are doing and aren't that irresponsible.
Agreed, Jeremy. I'd gladly become a mod in order to stop this BS. On a side note, it's been over a day and still no sign of a mod in this thread.
I managed to catch Ninjas online and pinged him, he looked at the runs and rejected them. Glad this is over.
Thanks man. I still would like to see overall better moderation. For example, actually listening to the community and adding categories that have been ran before like unlock everything.
^ No don't listen to him, he doesn't know what he's talking about half the time and hasn't shown any interest in this thread until the idea of a possible new mod came up.
Lmao I actually talked about it a while back with another mod I believe and was serious about it. however, that Mod Me post was intended to be blunt to come across as odd. Also, I do know what I'm talking about. This guy's ^ just spiteful about an old argument. I'm adamant about enforcing rules and making sure correct modes are used, etc. Also, I'm probably too busy to be a mod right now.
Twitch has recently announced that effective April 19, 2025, they will be imposing a 100-hour storage limit on Uploads and Highlights, and if surpassed, Twitch will automatically remove highlights/uploads to stay under the limit.
Going forward, all runs requiring video should be submitted with a vi
