I've been speedrunning with a trash pc, and I saw top runners like doog and zylenox who's pcs can handle load chunks and the wall. I was wondering if any of you know what pcs they use or which you reccomend.
zylenox has a 32x AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, RTX 3060Ti doogile has a 24x AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, RTX 3060Ti
I personally don't use the wall so I can't speak on that front, but I run a i7-8700 and RTX 2060 just fine with Sodium, etc. My experience with high RD is that 32 runs smooth enough in the overworld, but I keep it around 24. 32 in the nether is a little framey, but still playable (I just crank it back down to the 20s afterwards).

I’ve also been speedrunning on a less powerful PC, and it can be quite a challenge. While I don’t know exactly what rigs doog and zylenox use, I’ve found that playing lighter games on Poki Games has been a good way to practice mechanics without the lag. For speedrunning, though, you might want to look into PCs with strong single-core performance and a good GPU to handle chunk loading better.
