So I see a lot of runners doing this thing where when they're crafting bread, they somehow craft the maximum amount while just swiping over. How do I do this?

I've tried that and it only puts one at a time, did you mean hold down right click?

Hold down left click

You hold down shift while dragging across. That said Alivingcreatur is right and just shift clicking on the bread in the recipe book would likely be optimal

if you have multiple stacks you can shift click, but I think it only works in 1.16+
