I use tab as my #8 slot speedrunning and I’m too used to it to switch off but for some reason In The crafting table when I hit that it just highlights the book-is there a way to disable that function of the tab key or naw

yeah its annoying for me too cause my drop key is tab and i cant drop anything directly out of my inventory

If you used a macro to bind tab to lets say, k, then you could make slot 8 k in the minecraft controls and that might fix it but maybe not.
