It seems that I can't add any tools, saves or whatever for this game (which I am obviously mod for) http://www.speedrun.com/The_Graveyard/resources
However if there's something added already, I can add (for example) tools just fine
^ same. Still hope to get an answer (or a reason for Knight Rider 2 in the spreadsheet) aswell :)
Some guy on youtube I found you just recently found skips for UC3 (PS4) and some stuff for the other games. Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLYM5Mj0KlEw3YDJb0AGSK1V32epR84MWa
I still have 500 SEK (10x50 bills), can I possibly mail that to Edenal and pay the attendance fee with them? :)
There is a Discord-group for Prince of Persia speedrunning in general - so if you're interested, I can send you an invitation link via twitch PM.
Edit: In case you don't know, Discord is basically a combination of skype and teamspeak which is mostly used by speedrunners & co. It's free to download and can also be used (without download) as a browser application.
Deponia and Deponia 2: Chaos on Deponia (later also Deponia 3: Goodbye Deponia, not on this site yet) are the Deponia series. Would be cool if someone could do that :)
As a supermod of the Prince of Persia Series, I just wanted to confirm what criban posted like 2 days ago: http://www.speedrun.com/The_Site/thread/63nr7/31#d3pt2
It would be cool if a mod of this page could either make 'epicdudeguy' or 'criban' a supermod of Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones or if the option "Series moderators have power here" could be checked by a speedrun(dot)com mod so us series moderators can deal with this issue.
We (the PoP community) just want to have full control over that game again. Thanks in advance!
I assume the runners (= joe :p) of this game already know those skips found by scottm, just wanted to link them here again in case anyone wonders.
e.g.
So it's official now, fast forwarding gives you an unfair advantage since the game runs faster, if your hardware is better. For example I got a sick run on a 4 core PC which was 15:13, on my 8 core PC I got a sick run which was 13:03. The difference in timing is too huge to be related to misplaying or something - it has to be the difference in hardware specs.
What to do now? I don't want to ban fast forwarding completely, since any% would be 1 hour then with doing nothing 90% of the time = boring as fuck I thought of using external FPS limiters (IF the games FPS goes above 60 in the fast forwarding sections). Any idea so save the any% category is appreciated. Because getting rekkie just because one has a better PC is obviously super unfair.
And what about the different categories? Maybe one difficulty as default (easy?) and the other two as misc categories (hidden when you enter this page first)
new anno chapter times http://pastebin.com/bqGBiHUy this could be inaccurate by 0.1s but whatever, timing it in an actual run isn't that more accurate :p
Ye I read the message thanks 4 info!
Also the level rules say that you have to start timer "when you clicked on Start Game in the campaign menu or when you pressed "Restart Map" in the ingame menu". To avoid loading times here, "we should Start the timing after the First Load when we click the button "Enter Level/Map" as you said, it's the most logical idea - even more for the level runs.
Of course you have to retime all the level runs done and substract the loading times. (Or I can do that if you want me to, I'd write the times in here then :p)
About the "Fast Forward": to be fair, I think the speed of fastforwarding isn't inconsistent, it has a maximum. But not every PC is getting to the maximum.
So I would still allow it, but only people with "medium good" PCs can run it then. To me it'd be like a game from 2015 - if some people can't run the game properly with their PC there's nothing we can do about that, but we shouldn't cut off the people (with PCs) who can. But that's only my opinion, you're the mod here :p
To be fair, I never made an autosplitter too. Maybe with the glitch, more runners come and one of them actually knows how to do an autosplitter? Not the best idea I know, but for the moment, the "Pause Livesplit" thing should be good I guess (until someone is able to make an autosplitter)
Also this would require a change of the category rules and an additional row for time (without loads).
