getting a "perfect run" in obtain diamond is EXTREMELY difficult, same with emerald. Die% would just be good seed, walk into hole, ded. There would be no competition, so it would be a terrible category. Because there would be a point where 50 people would have WR. Except unlike goldeneye where a lot of people have a tied WR, it would be super easy to get.
So, we will not add it. Not even to CE. We already can't keep up with all the runs submitted. And we don't want to have to verify runs for a useless category.

Obviously people haven't done that yet, but if people stoop to that, I'm going to let you know now as a caution that it still wont be added back. It is a dumb category and you can fairly easily get the "perfect run". So there would be no competition really.

@Cytruss because editing the game was disabled on April 1st because of stuff that happened last year on src
select the trade, spam spacebar and left click. Though be careful with this when playing the game casually because with villagers like librarians, sometimes when mashing spacebar it'll swap to a different book trade without you knowing it and, from experience, it's not a fun thing to happen.
If you want to submit a category idea, there is a form for that in the forums. There needs to be 2 runs by different people with video proof though. Also, if the mods think it's too arbitrary, then it will not be added
idk if it would even really be possible to beat the game in demo mode since the seed is awful

@obybella Yes, tower strat works in 1.9+. But it is not the fastest method. The fastest method is to play on 1.14.4 [removed for incorrect information] And to get a fletcher villager that has a stick trade. To do this, you make a fletching table and you find a villager without a job or you break their workstation to get rid of their job. Then you place the fletching table, check their trades. If there's no stick trade, break the table, wait for their job to reset, and try again. When you get a trade that is emeralds for sticks, you trade a bunch of sticks with that villager for emeralds. You then find a cleric villager which has a brewing stand as a workstation (though you'll likely find a church in that village and so making a brewing stand is not required, and you can probably just find the cleric in the village) and trade up until you get to the ender pearl trade, and you use your emeralds to get pearls that way.
Note that villagers' jobs in 1.14 can only reset for part of the full minecraft day, iirc about 7 or so minutes of it. So their job may not reset when you try to make it reset. Also note that if you break one workstation (for example, a composter), that villager may be tied to another composter in the village. So you just have to break them all until the villager has no job. Also keep in mind that Green Coat villagers CANNOT get jobs. These villagers are known as Nitwits, as they cannot get a job and are pretty much useless.
Also nobody would find this fun whatsoever. The only time this would be "fun" is with actual glitches. Like getting a diamond and duplicating it. Or maybe if you used a seed with a lot of desert temples nearby each other and maybe some villages thrown in the mix (could be used for food and possibly finding diamonds).
But this is just dumb and I doubt it will ever be put on the CE leaderboards
If it said in the title "Cheat%", sure. But the person says "NO GLITCHES" in the description. They mention nothing of cheats in the "rules". X-Ray is basically an extended glitch because there are X-Ray glitches in the game.
No cheats are allowed on the official Minecraft leaderboards. So if you're going to make up a category and post it here abide by those rules at least.
