The solution to this problem is to have music on a separate audio track from the game, that way you can just mute the music audio track and upload that version to youtube
@diggitydingdong it is a bad idea as it doesnt give the community the time to actually play through the game and figure out how the game works and how the boards should be structured. If they didnt open their boards immediately on launch they could have very well prevented having to nuke their board and start over
@wartab its on the sites about page https://www.speedrun.com/about
If its not available as a selectable platform you can request it to be added here https://www.speedrun.com/the_site/thread/5twus/1#h616e

Leaderboards dont use the autonomous flags for most countries in order to make it easier to identify the user's country on first glance. With the only (to my knowledge) exception being the UK.
Seems the new twitch layout has broken twitch embeds on the site. Im now getting the error "Whoops! This embed is misconfigured."
how will that work tho? What exactly would the site use to determine where each game should be sorted? does it take an average or does it take 1st place or does it take last? theres no real way you can sort that properly
I've been on and off Destiny since September 2014
Voice Over IP, think of stuff like Teamspeak or Discord
No, doing that brings up a permissions error, although im sure Site Staff are able to access such pages without a permissions error
You also mentioned earlier that "If the developer gives you a tool and you don't use it then you lose time." So by this definition i should be allowed to use cheat codes like infinite ammo or godmode or level select codes right? I mean the developer gave me that tool to use and i would obviously lose time due to not using those developer provided tools. Im also sure the developer intended us to use these tools at some point as well
