Yeah i got back home on Sunday so i can do some catchup, as it stands all Full Game stuff should be done but the ILs will take more time due to the sheer volume of them compared to everything else
So the run is quite different depending on the difficulty? If thats the case then we can justify creating at the very least a difficulty variable to differentiate between them if they are actually quite different and not just a case of "AI drive better"
Admittedly like a week after I made this forum thread my health issues got even worse so I've spent the last 6 weeks in post-op recovery so I've very much been prioritising my recovery over everything else so apologies for the delay on things getting reorganized. I'm back home next week so I'll have an opportunity to get everything sorted out and look at adding the folk interested as mods to the board.
Given Load times are meaningless in this game as we use In-Game Time I don't see any issues with ODEs being counted as real hardware as at the end of the day it's still being played off actual hardware.
Hey Folks,
Been Long overdue for a Leaderboard update and I apologise for that, I had originally intended to do this just after New Years but i unfortunately ran into a pretty serious medical emergency that completely put a stop to all my plans. In light of this i am going to be looking for folk to join the mod team to help keep the queues down, while i was recovering the queue got quite large and neglected and it does ultimately fall down to me. If anyone is interested please reach out to me and we can look at getting new folks added.
Second I took the feedback from folk asking for platforms to finally be separated and I will be working to get that implemented. As it stands PS2, Saturn, PC and Arcade will have their own categories and all Emulator runs will be in their own Emulator specific category. It will take a few days for everything to look normal again (I fear I will have to manually edit 99% of runs to change their platform, alternatively if anyone wants to volunteer for that effort it will be greatly appreciated)
Lastly in light of Twitch's recent changes to the highlights system and the cap on users, we will be rejecting all future twitch highlight links and we ask that you submit YouTube Links instead. Runs already verified are grandfathered in but i highly recommend playing it safe and editing them with a YouTube Link.
If anyone has any other suggestions of Feedback they wish to share then please feel free to and we can consider it if theres community demand.
If theres interest we can look into a "All License Tests" or something of that nature
nah i just never got around to adding them lol. there hasnt exactly been much interest so its never been a priority
Could try deleting the save file in the start screen as I think it only loads the save file after you press start
10 days and ive had more pressing things to deal with. It will be dealt with before the 21 day limit
Did you? I dont recall seeing anything back then but i was and have been busy. Regardless the run was moved to the correct subcat, these things happen when making changes and its common for things to fall through the cracks unintentionally.
Considering this game is extremely inactive the need for additonal moderators isnt needed. Esp since one of the examples you gave Azurnac last logged in almost 2 months ago
Personally i would recommend going the hardware route as in my experience the RNG manips are more consistent on hardware compared to emu (but maybe thats a skill issue lmao)
But if they actually used the empty space then they wouldnt have space for ads! D:
Also im pretty sure the entire point of the "supporter forum" was to gather feedback explictly targeted towards upcoming changes but that doesnt seem to be working either.
Ive been busy.
I suppose we can add a subcategory for Speedrunner/No Speedrunner
