Participation went down by 2 compared to last week, but we're still right on track!
[Section=Next Week] The Game for Week 6 is a personal favourite of mine: Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae (Leaderboard) Any% Easy will be run - if you're interested, it's an about 15-20m run that's easy to learn, but hard to gain time on. It's available for PC via Steam and Humble Bundle (or drm-free on GOG), PS4 & XBOXOne and costs around 10 bucks.
As this is a game that's gotta be bought to play we have already given away 5 keys so that there's less of an entry-wall. Hope to see you this sunday!
in addition to the request by @SpiderSponge - please avoid just making them basically 1 tickbox, as there are games that only work on the NEW systems.

@Habreno When you type nμmber - the site tries to replace it with an emoji, but due to that emoji not existing, it'll display the text used for creating the emoji, ergo nμmber. [big]BUT![/big] due to it being recognized as an emoji, it still has the max-width designated to it, so the text wraps downwards.

Okay. First of all, keep the insults to yourself - because that gets people banned, not just removed from moderator. See @Pixql & @Racingmonster and how it turned out for them to insult people. There is no place for such hostile behaviour, especially because of 1 minor mistake on my end, as I have said, I haven't touched the game for a while now, and on top of that I've played it in a different language, so pardon me if my Memory of what exactly unlocks a specific thing is fuzzy, 1 mistake does not imply I have no idea about how the game works.
It's like you didn't even read through my response, nor show any interest in actually improving the leaderboard, but rather just defend your own position, which is of course the most correct one.

I'll remove all ILs (a.k.a. the thing most runs exist for atm) and revert the changes to the FG Board as I've said. After I'm done I'll remove myself from moderator - if you want this game to stay at 0 runs, do as you wish.

the point tho: "unlock cutscene X" is an ambiguous requirement to begin with so timing is an issue, see THIS THREAD to remind you that it's not clear on when to exactly start.
last hit on last monster is more clear - and there is no meaningful gameplay after the monster has been defeated either.
And to allow players to create their own character (which also does not impact IGT) starting timer when they are done creating their character is also the most logical step to me. (SDA timing - first meaningful input after charCreation to loss of control)

I'd like to note tho that I have no intentions to "remove your moderator status" and will never have such intentions - We're here to moderate - not fight. I was presented with an issue by @sonnie that I was trying to resolve by making these changes. As you said yourself in your edit, the category would take about 7 hours if done good, so giving an alternative Any% that is shorter is not farfetched, just saying "run the other game" feels like the cheap way out.
/edit: just double checked, it's the quest "Rise to the Summit" (Nekoht 9 Star Quest / Arena Akantor) that unlocks the video - goal has been changed accordingly.

BTT: Any of the Monster Hunter games' IL runs. Any% is slow, and pretty hard to run, harder to watch - while ILs you just see people do crazy stuff all over the place.

I'm requesting change to the way the entirety of the mario kart series is handled.
The basic issue is how there's a full-denial when it comes to adding the different speeds as subcategories for the games. when it's brought up, with runs or without, it's being shot down for literally no reason, or with completely surrealistic reasons like "it's slower" or how lovely @Lafungo put it for SMK: [quote=Lafungo]50cc isn't even full game[/quote] (imo the leaderboards could also take a little face-lift by putting the CUP IL categories on an IL page*) (*also got denied btw. - but I can live with that, since it's just a stylistic choice)
Example 1 Example 2 (apparently not even full-game Time-Attack is to be added. kk) Example 3 (completely got ignored by mod) Example 4 (not rejected by lafungo - but still: apparently there's no space on the leaderboards for 2 more subcategories next to the already existing 150cc & 200cc subs...) Example 5 (also got shot down, not by lafungo tho)
Example 1a Example 1b (showing that other mods are open to improvements) Example 2b (showing that other mods are open to other categories being added) Example 1c (another unheard request - platform)
If you have people do their own leaderboards because the moderators aren't willing to add categories to accomodate for it, there's an obvious problem. Example. Example 2 (didn't expect to find a second one, esp. the 3rd post after OP is exactly this situation)

@SpiderSponge 2 outcomes: -you remove ms and give people up to 999ms for free -or you round up and add up to 999ms
neither way is perfect - so facepalming because he chose one doesn't do good here. just activating ms & retiming the runs would be the proper course - but I'm not here to judge, that's why I said it's up to him.
That's up to you as moderator (you should keep it consistent tho)
I for one always round up on games I moderate, or I enable ms to not have to make that decision.
