it does neither require to overclock your device, nor runs games at a higher framerate / load games faster unless you activate certain cheats / additional functionalities. NTR Streaming by itself, if anything, lowers the framerate & load speeds, as it's running another application on your 3ds. You're effectively putting yourself at a disadvantage compared to an inbuilt capture unit. (You can see this most effectively with SNES VC, where NTR makes the game drop to 3fps)

[quote=cros107]a hack for N3DS/2DS that lets you wirelessly stream 3DS gameplay to your PC[/quote] 1.It's not a hack, it's custom firmware 2.Streaming is only available to New 3DS & New 2DS, as both 3DS & 2DS don't have the processing power necessary.

there's no reason to not allow it. if there's doubt, one can require per rules that the menu has to be shown if using it, as to ensure that no cheats are activated.

but while we're at the topic of this, @Lafungo could you please add N3DS to the platforms list? to make it clickable, click the "show obscure" button.

Button is still there, check if there's anything installed that could block the button, like adblock.

[quote=sonnie] I believe this is why there are no submitted runs and general lack of interest in speedrunning this game[/quote] I agree that Full-Game runs are quite a feat to do, and not many even attempt to do these. BUT, the main problem is that the majority of people are interested in ILs rather than Full-Game, mostly by japanese gamers - as ILs allow you to use whatever.

I have only recently gotten Moderator on the older MH games, as such I haven't gotten around to setting up everything and apologize for not getting to it sooner. (last game I set up the IL page for was MH4U) Nonetheless, I'll take your suggestions into account once I get to this game (unless @SlayerOfBabies is faster than me). btw if you happen to know if there's a list of all available quests, that would help cut down time to set up immensely.

@SUPERMALLEO IL stands for "Individual Level" (I hope I don't need to explain what individual or level mean)

you can see mine here for example: https://www.speedrun.com/user/European_Union/individual_levels

I can only agree with Pac, it doesn't look as neat as it could - but it's the best way of having it be as compact as it is right now.

@SpiderSponge Yes, they're available to pretty much everyone and are (usually) free, so they're pretty much perfect.

[section=FAQ] How do I join? All you need to join is a SpeedRunsLive account, then you're ready to go! It's recommended to join the discord so you know exactly when the race room opens. [small][small]Keep in mind that SRL has rules, so it's best to read them carefully.[/small][/small]

How do I join SpeedRunsLive (SRL)? @Legs made a super duper guide for joining SRL, it's easy to understand and follow. You can check it out HERE.

Do I need to join the discord? You don't need to join the discord to participate, but to vote on the next games, and to get our super cool emojis, you indeed need to join in on the action. It's also recommended to join to get updates in real time, for example if a race gets delayed. https://discord.gg/NncPJKy

Can I request X to be raced? If it can get a speedrun.com leaderboard, it's fine by us. Although keep in mind that we try to prioritize availability, so games that can be emulated and/or are free are more likely to appear.

If the game you want to moderate is not on the site yet, use https://speedrun.com/requestgame to request the game, you'll automatically be asigned moderator when it is through.

If the game is already on the site, contact the current moderator(s). To "contact" a moderator, either leave a forum thread in the game's forum or visit their Social Media. Their Social Media can be viewed on their profile.

that's your browser's fault, it caches files so it doesn't have to reload them. press CTRL + F5 to force it to reload the files.

Creating subcategories for each Fighter would just unecessarily dilute the leaderboard, (example: https://www.speedrun.com/fast_rmx/full_game#Single_Cup )

The way the Leaderboard is set up right now, you can choose to view all at once, or runs with a specific Partner Pokémon. To do so, press the "Filter" button at the top right of the leaderboard, then select "Partner Pokémon", whatever you choose here will be shown on the leaderboard.

I'd like to request a page for Speedrun Weekly.

About Speedrun Weekly is a weekly (duh) racing event held on sundays, split into 2 month intervals. The goal of SRW is to bring life to small communities, show people these often obscure games, and have a shitton of fun learning a game in one week. Everyone is free to participate in these races, Games raced are decided by vote, and at the end of each interval there's a finale / special race instead of a new game.

Schedule / Additional Info The first 2 month interval has already begun, starting 5th November, going until 31st December. We've opened strong with Kirby's Dream Land, and then gained traction with Mole Mania, and have The Little Mermaid coming up on Sunday.

We're not supporting a charity (yet?), but a 1-place stream with commentary is planned / in the making at https://www.twitch.tv/speedrun_weekly

The Team consists of the following: -DarQ Massacres & Legs as Moderators -Aureus Lunae, Looking for friend & JayJane4 as Commentators / Twitch -KrusKader, Knight and me as backup and misc. stuff.

3DS games save to System Memory / SD card, depending on if you have a SD card inserted - another copy of new leaf wouldn't help. so you need to check that your save isn't on System Memory, otherwise you can switch out carts & SDs all day long to no avail.

If you don't want to spend money on buying x SD cards for your saves, you could also look into homebrew and back up your saves that way.

yes, it's called [CTRL]+[F] all threads are loaded when you visit a forum, so you can let your browser search for it. and if you want to search for the contents you can always just use google filters like "marathon request site:speedrun.com/The_Site"

not everything needs to be done by the site.

at the moment there's no simple "selection" to this, but you're free to create as many variables (and therefore, subcategories) as you need, so you can just create a subcategory for every level that this applies to.

Examples of short games: -Mole Mania -Kirby's Dream Land -You have to burn the rope -SUPER PRESS SPACE TO WIN ACTION RPG -Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae

Again, welcome!

you should check out SRW, where we attempt to learn a new game in a week, and then race it. so all games on there are relatively easy to pick up - 1 point down!

We raced 2 games so far: -Kirby's Dream Land (Leaderboard) -Mole Mania (Leaderboard)

Both these games are extremely easy to get into, having simple strats and are pretty short, but WR times are far from what we're getting in the races.^^

Other than that, I can recommend Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae, simple Hack'n'Slash Arena, but has a few things that are pretty tight to master. also easy to get into: -Dungeon Defenders -Xenoblade Chronicles -Xenoblade Chronicles X -Super Press Space To Win Action RPG -You Have To Burn The Rope -Pokkén Tournament (/DX) -Akane The Kunoichi -Hentai

can have multiple reasons

-Nothing else to do, so why not -Itchy fingers (like you said) -keeps fingers awake -keeps runner concentrated -prevents "cooling down"
