Is there any way to prevent ghost buckets like a mod cause they are really annoying when building portals

you cant prevent them with a legal mod, however, ghost buckets are most common when you are not quickly taking the water/lava. Also, if you want to check if you have a ghost bucket, you can quickly switch it from your hand to your offhand and back! Also, you probably know, but ghost buckets have been fixed in 1.17+
