I recently downloaded Nestopia UE to run the game after finding out that Mesen is not a valid emulator and I seem to be running into an issue that I didn't have with Mesen. If I jump without holding right then hold right in mid air it cancels my jump. Originally I thought it was a problem with l+r but even when I enable l+r the same problem happens. If anyone has had this problem before I would appreciate any help possible.
If Nestopia UE doesn't work correctly then you should try Nestopia 1.4.0 to see if that works. https://sourceforge.net/projects/nestopia/files/Nestopia/
I seem to have the same problem with that version. It's hardly an intended feature is it?
I don't think it's an intended feature unless i'm missing something. Did you try emulators like FCEUX and Bizhawk?
The reason I've been looking at using Nestopia is that its the least computationally intensive out of all of them. My laptop is pretty crap and with emulators like FCEUX or Bizhawk I tend to get a decent bit of lag
I don't know what to do then. I never had that problem with Nestopia. It could be something to do with the fact that your laptop is bad, but other then that, I don't have any more guesses.
It almost sounds like your keyboard can't handle having the jump key and the right key pressed simultaneously. Try remapping your buttons and see if you can't find a button mapping that works for you
Ah this seems to have solved it thanks a million!
Were you using sourceforge or no? I'm also trying to download this game but I don't know if you're supposed to use sourceforge or not (I'm on windows 10). Sorry if that was an off-topic comment or a necropost but since you already solved the problem and you know where you downloaded it from so I thought I should ask.
it was probably computer doesnt letting you press the 2 keys he was doing at the same time lol i have the same problem that for some reason my keyboard doesnt let me press at the same time like 4 keys at the same time and doesnt take any input more when there are 7+ keys at the same time, anyways is not that bad scenario and i never got problems with it lol
@dmccarthy98 How did you solve this? I Have the same issue and google everywhere without a solution.
Effective immediately, any submissions using the SNES9x emulator will not be verified. The SMB1 mod team has concerns about its integrity due to its ability to overclock and remove lag frames, which may not be easily detectable. Additionally, we request that all BizHawk submissions avoid using the S
