Framerules are inconsistent (video)

Follow up to the last thread I started. This is what I was talking about with the RNG changing in the same level & framerule without me manipulating it. If there's anything I did that would manipulate it please let me know.

At 0:09, you didn't kill the upper hammer bro on Pellsson' ROM. That's probably the reason why you got different pattern.

Oh okay. I never thought of looking for that. All I was concerned about was killing the bottom one. I'll do the level again to see if I have any other problems.

Additionally, for some frame rules, i’ve found it can depend on what frame you hit that hammer bro in the middle level. If you hit him early, on one of the first possible frames, you might get a different pattern than if you hit him late, on one of the last possible frames.

My rule of thumb for 8-3 is kill nothing unless you have to. That produces the most consistent pattern.

That would be optimal, but it's hard to do that when the bro spawns at the bottom. It is possible to do a tricky jump off of the back lip of the preceding pipe to get onto the top layer of bricks and avoid the bro, but such a jump is very difficult without the use of a quick left tap, which of course will change the RNG.

Yeah, I’m more referencing when it’s middle and top bros, don’t kill the middle bro

When it’s middle bottom, just do what you gotta do and react as best you can.
