I am planning to run the "All Jobs" category, but I have a few issues. One being, I do own the game on a disc, however my disc reader just doesn't work at or my disc is so scratched it can't play anymore. So I'm wondering if using a USB and OPL would be allowed, as it's technically not using an emulator. The other being the only method of recording I have is using my device as a camera which essentially means horrible quality. If that's fine, then I already have my answer for that.
I personally don't see why it wouldn't be allowed. It's almost the same, and there isn't anything I could do that would artificially speed up game play (except a few options in OPL which could be disabled) or save at a certain point to retry a trick.
Like, it is definitely a gray area. It's not playing right from a disc, but I am playing it on the actual hardware it was intended to play on. Eh. It's something I'll just leave to the mods to decide.
Noted. I'll probably do runs with OPL until I can get the game on the PS store. EDIT: But not submit them¤ It just wasn't stated anywhere here that I could find, so I had to ask.
Part of me said that it wouldn't be allowed, but you never really know.
Apologies for the late response.
Better to ask than end up submitting a run only to have it removed for breaking the rules.
