People aren't making dumb posts, you people are just making it out that people are making dumb posts.
a person asked "can i use a hack client for speedrunning"
@Trentthekid642 Well i think it's a interesting concept. What's wrong with it? Also @kingdinocharge Some forum posts will be dumb, and i'm not saying all posts are dumb.
Are you serious right now? You could literally just spawn in lava or on a mountain
@Trentthekid642 Then make a rule "You can't take dmg until 5 seconds after spawn" or "You must be atleast 100 blocks from a thing that can kill you".
There is already a death% category in the findseed thing on SRC
@Karl_Maks youre about as intelligent as the people asking for die% and if they can use hack clients
@kazii In what way? I have never seen an explanation beyond "Yeah you can spawn on a place to die". There can be rules made to prevent this, so what are we waiting for?
its been asked for since like the dawn of time. its not gonna happen. give it up and maybe actually play the game and quit suggesting dumb categories? that run would be under a minute and would die on its second day of existence
@kazii And how would it be under a minute? I feel like you're purpousfully trying to dodge my question. Also, you don't know that it will die on it's second day, you just assume so. People will be asking this question until you actually add it.
im not purposefully dodging it. if it seems like that then i genuinely dont understand what youre confused about and how you dont get that youre retarded. just leave me alone.
@kazii Give me one reason that isn't "It will die on the second day" or "You can spawn in a lavapool" beacause those are the only argument that i've heard against against die%/death%.
what optimization is there besides movement optimization? once someone finds an op seed (not a lava spawn) itll cap at the time really fast. im not saying its outright BORING its just dumb. pointless. arbitrary
When die% was added as an april fools day joke, the set seed category was maximized after one day, by fall damage. The random seed category is the only thing that has any hope of not being maxed instantly, but eventually somebody will get a perfect seed, and the fun will be over. I'm pretty sure most people who suggest die% just want a free world record. There are two leaderboards for die%, (a google sheet made after april fools, and a leaderboard on findseed) and nobody runs it.
