Recently, I've been noticing an issue when doing attempts on the Nestopia emulator. The game's audio seems to run at a very slightly slower rate than the gameplay, causing it to slowly de-sync over the course of a run. It's not noticeable in the early levels, but by the time I reach world 8, the audio is off by around .2 of a second, which makes the de-sync easily detectable. This is a problem for me, as I use audio cues to perfectly time some jumps in world 8, and the de-sync becomes kind of irritating and causes me to lose my concentration on the game. Is this a known problem with emulator, and is there any way to fix it?
have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program again, I had this issue too, and that fixed it
I don't have this problem of it slowly de-syncing over the course of the run, and I use the v1.4.0 version. But my kinda not so good computer sometimes de-syncs the audio from time to time if I'm streaming and recording and playing the game sometimes, which is usually corrects itself after a few seconds so it's not too bad.
