Since the rules states that you can to beat the game in any way, couldn't you technically just do the minus world ending because it still counts as beating the game?
I'm guessing it is NOT allowed because there is already a separate category for minus world ending.

It means in any way to beat 8-4, not minus world. Technically beating the minus world isn't beating the game, just that world. And in my opinion it really shouldn't be allowed. Like you said there's already a category on the ce page of minus world AND a category on the main page for the Japanese minus world. So beating minus world isn't beating the game. [{(I think)}]
