This is the Guide for speedrunning Bacteria in cure mode.
Evreything related to Mega Brutal in the Bottom

Tip
In cure Mode, when rushing the cure always start in a wealthy Country surrounded by many wealthy Countries unless you can get a lot of wealthy countries investigated easily. Thsi helps with the cure due to an higher contribution to the cure.
Go to settings and turn autopause game off. This is leads to faster Times, enables you to stay in the control tab the whole time and also great with Procurement Director. (In Main game Metabolic Hijack)

For Mega Brutal at the Moment my Strategy is very much improvable. It is at the bottom.

The Strategy
Casual, Normal and Brutal

Before starting get:	-Investigate Outbreaks
				-Government Partnership
				-Deploy Field Operatives

Start: Germany              (other read below)

Start in a wealthy Country surrounded by many wealthy Countries.
Or be able to investigate as many wealthy Countries as possible

After starting as soon as possible 	-Vaccine Research

Then get 						-Accerated research

Travel to the origin country of the Bacteria found under Control as soon as you can

Then get 						-Field Research
							
As soon as possible get 			-Vaccine Manufacturing
							-Accelerated Manufacturing

Next get either 				-Global Research Traity
or							-Global Manufaturing Traity
Then the other one after.

Now there are multiple options:	-Further speeding up research and/or manufacturing     
							-Decrease Infectivity                                                        
							-Focus on decreasing Authority loss		  (This is necessary in Brutal)

Multiple Options at once is theoretically the best

Further speeding up research
This done by getting any of the following:  -Convalescent Plasma
								     -Advanced Antibiotics
								     -Monoclonal Antibody Treatment (Requires Convalescent Plasma)

Further speeding up manufacturing 
This done by getting			-Improve Supply Chains


Decrease Infectivity
Either Lockdown the Continents with many infected 
or in Response tab the upper options.

Focus on decreasing Authority loss
Get 			-Authority 1
If necessary 	-Authority 2
			-Authority 3 
or if the manufacturing is almost done 	-Censorship                             (can kill runs if done too early)
followed by 						-Fake News                      

At this Point my Runs were all distributing the Vaccine or nearly finished Manufacturing.

The Victory screen appears after the Vaccine begins to be distributed and there are 0 infected.

It is similar to my Strategy, but it is more detailed, it is written more general for the use with other diseases and it is better than I'll be able to do in the next couple of Months due to being bad at languages (English is my best Language, but not my first Language meaning I won't be able to formulate easy understandable guides as good).

Advisors
For Disease Advisors
Forensic Epidemiologist is best, increasing Vaccine Research Speed.
The other 4 are useless for this strategy, at least against Bacteria, because we are just going to let the disease spread to every country, and Bacteria does not need to be analyzed.

For Field Advisors
Crisis Manager is good, slowing Authority loss where you are deployed. 
Another option is Fast Response EMTs to increase the Field Operatives travel speed. 
The other 3 are useless for this strategy, because Non-Compliance is completely irrelevant in this strategy.

For Quarantine Advisors
it doesn’t matter, all 5 of them are useless in this strategy, pick anything. They all involve Quarantine actions and Non-Compliance which are irrelevant in this strategy. Personally I went with Celebrity Scientist since that seems like a generally useful one for strategies that do involve Non-Compliance, as it simply reduces Non-Compliance without altering the actions of governments like the others.

For Operation Advisors
Medical Coordinator is probably the best choice, to reduce Authority loss from Panic, although the others are valid choices too.

For Outbreak Advisors
Technical Officer is definitely the best choice for this strategy, to reduce global Infection rate, and the main focus of this strategy is reducing Infection rates. 
Don’t choose Regulation Enforcer since we won’t do any Lockdowns, it is irrelevant.

If you don’t have all these options, it is not a big deal, you can probably still win anyway, especially if you are on an easier difficulty mode, but you probably want to get all of those Advisors before doing Mega Brutal.

Alright so now start the game with those Advisors (or the best you could do). 

Now go to the Operation tab of the Control menu befor clicking on the start bubble, because this does not count towrads your time, and get Investigate Outbreaks, Deploy Field Operatives, and Government Partnerships. This should use up all your Resources.

As far as what country to be your HQ, this is not very important, but you probably want something centrally located on the world map so that when you find out where the outbreak actually is, you can get there faster. Egypt is right in the middle of the map so start there.

Go back to the map and wait for the disease to be detected or red dots to appear on the map. Once that happens, go to the Control menu and see if the Origin Country is known yet. If so, go there using your Field Operatives. If not, guess which country it started in, by looking at which countries have red dots and picking the one that seems to be in the middle. After you do this, check in the Control menu for the Origin Country again if you didn’t get it the first time, and once it shows up, send your field operatives to the Origin Country.

OK, now it is time to get serious about combating this disease. We do not care about Compliance Risk at all and will not be doing any Quarantines, and Fatality Rate is a much more minor concern than Infection Rate. The main focus is Infection Rate. Also we need to research a Vaccine and manufacture it.

But the top priority at the beginning is Infection Rate. Immediately invest in Infection Control in the Operation tab so that your Field Operatives fight infections instead of spreading them.

Then go to the Response tab and invest in things on the top side, not the bottom side, things that reduce Infection Rate, as well as Contact Tracing.

I suggest first doing Contact Tracing 1, then Hand Washing, then Disinfectant Supplies, then Public Awareness, then Self-Isolation, then Contact Tracing 2.

After this, save up enough Resources to you can start Vaccine Research in the Operation tab. Then when you have enough Resources, get Field Research, while you are still in the Origin Country. Next, start up Vaccine Manufacturing.

Now go back to the Response tab and get Border Monitoring, Testing Capacity 1, and Social Distancing.

Now go to the World menu, Data tab, Infection Spread Summary, and see which country is the most infected. If it is not the country your Field Operatives are in, move them there. From now on, you should regularly check the World menu, Data tab, Infection Spread Summary every so often and send your Field Operatives to the most infected country on a regular basis, from now until the end of the game.

Now in the Response tab of the Control menu, get PPE Package 1, Contact Tracing 3, and Testing Capacity 2.

Now in the Operation tab of the Control menu, get Accelerated Research and Accelerated Manufacturing.

Now is a good time to check if another country has a higher infection rate than the current one under World menu, Data tab, Infection Spread Summary, and send your Field Operatives there. From now on, please remember to keep doing this regularly yourself.

Next in the Response tab of the Control menu, get PPE Package 2, Contact Tracing 4, Testing Capacity 3, Mask Wearing, Improve Supply Chains, Surge Protocols, New Infrastructure, and Local Lockdowns. You might actually win the game before you are able to get all of these, depending on the difficulty level.

You should be able to win the game easily now if you remember to keep sending your Field Operatives to the most infected country. Once it says “Releasing...” you are basically a winner.

If you experience dangerous levels of Authority loss, you can get Authority 1 on the Operation tab of the Control menu and further options things to boost your Authority after you get Authority 1 such as Authority 2, Censorship, Authority 3, and Fake News. If Authority runs out, you lose the game, but this should not happen with Bacteria and this strategy. Also, since Non-Compliance is not something to worry about in this strategy, it is perfectly safe to use Censorship and Fake News even though they increase Non-Compliance, which is bad in strategies where Non-Compliance actually matters.

Guide for posting your runs via Mobile

Hi, I'm zylladys, one of the moderators here.

Since I'm seeing there are much runs being rejected for the same reason (FPS lower than accepted), I'll try to help you all.

As I noted, Youtube compress your video when you upload it via Mobile app, and this compression lowers the FPS of your video for less than 30fps, even if you record it with 60+ fps. I already had rejected runs for this reason.

The solution I've found is to use the YouTube website on mobile browser instead.
Login into your account and put the page on "desktop version". And then, upload your video this way.
The video will not be compressed and you will not lose quality uploading it.

How to (probably) beat my WR on Casual - Bacteria.

So, I recommend you use these genes: ATP Boost, Aquacyte, Sympto-Stasis, Genetic Mimic, and Extremophile. Those can be really helpful, but they aren't needed. So, what do you do, you ask? Well, Start in Saudi Arabia. Once you get those 8 points from the ATP Boost gene, get Nausea, Coughing, and Rash as fast as you can. Then, get the 1 (or 2) points from the Bio-Hazard bubble. Then, once you have enough points, get Insomnia, Cysts, and Anaemia as fast as you can. Then, get any Tier 2 symptoms when you have enough points as fast as you can. Once you get out of Saudi Arabia, get as many symptoms as you can. (I recommend trying to get Total Organ Failiure, Necrosis, and Haemorrhagic Shock as fast as you can) Once you have about 200 points, try to get every symptom, if successful, you will be killing very fast. Now, sit back and relax, OK, not that, but in a couple of seconds, you will win! [don’t take seriously: Now, don't try to kill everybody in the world. Make it so that the end screen's text says "(Your Disease Name) has killed all of it's hosts. Some healthy people survived!".] You will get a time of at least 5 minutes. Remember to read the rules!

Neurax Worm Casual Speedrun Guide

Well, I think I can help with some of my method.
I am not the WR holder but I think I can be useful.

Genes: 
Metabolic Hijack
Aquacyte (or Native Biome)
Trans-Stasis
Darwinist
Extremophyle

As most of the runs, start in Saudi Arabia.

Start with the Transmission tab, upgrading the left column until the top:
-Concertina Locomotion
-Undulatory Locomotion
-Air 1
-Air 2
-Air 3
and then evolve Eggs 1 and 2, following by Bird 1, Insect 1 and Rodent 1.

Go to Abilities tab and evolve Cold 1 and Trojan Plane 1. (If well timed, you can use Trojan Plane before upgrading it, very useful and saves time)
Use Trojan Plane to infect Greenland.

Back to Transmission tab:
-Water 1
-Water 2
-Water 3
-Bird 2
-Insect 2
-Rodent 2

And finally you go to Symptoms tab. You will follow the top left path, until you reach Transcendence.
-Neural Breach
-Cerebral Tendrils
-Adrenergic Constriction
-Anxiolytic Infusion
-Psychosis
-Adoration
-Devotion
-Transcendence

Go back to Abilities tab and evolve some resistances to accelerate the end game infections.
-Drugs 1
-Heat 1
-Cold 2
-Drugs 2

Here, you already is able to finish the run with about 200 days or less.
With some luck, you can win the game while evolving the final abilities.
Of course, you must keep an eye on the evil islands that refuses to infect (Madagascar, New Zealand and Caribbean mainly) so if needed, send the plane to it.
