Sorry, I'm sure I'm missing an obvious resource, but is there a list of the starting framerules (ex. -3.27) somewhere? I'm specifically looking for the consistent BBG shot for a mid-4:57. Thanks!
it's -7.12 seconds for the traditional BBG time - without any fpgs, blazit or 1-2g
edited for Jonnyboy's sassyness =)
I hope I'm doing this correctly https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qpuH9lPcwxUhBTFZAm68l2kCUm1nCviBLp-THBnXzmc/edit#gid=0
in the -7.12 you hit nothing except the last two bouncing koopas - look at Kosmic's 2nd place run on the leaderboard and copy what he does in 8-2
That's assuming you're on perfect pace (other than fpg, blazit/fast 4-2 and 1-2g)
If you want to practice it on the Pellsson rom, it's rule # 539 on 8-2 for optimal, and 540 for one behind optimal
For one framerule behind optimal (rule 540 on Pellsson) you hit 2 additional koopas... do exactly what somewes does in the current world record video (coincidentally, you can do that setup for the optimal rule also, it's just easier to bop only the 2 koopas instead of 4)
@zsjetu9 I've looked at your spreadsheet, and I think it is definitely useful, however, it is confusing to look at, since it says stuff like framerule behind WR, but it gets a little confusing since he does 8-3 FPG, while some others may not. I recommend you could help reduce confusion by saying maybe "framerules behind 457 pace (without any FPGs)" or something
Any% (NTSC) runs below 4:57.000 must now fulfill additional requirements in order to be verified.
- The run's full session must be included in the submission description.
- For emulator runs below 4:57.000, some form of input display must be visible for the duration of the run. A hand-cam or input
