No means no. You're free to speedrun escalations on your own time, but they are not being added here.
I assume you are referring to escalations... we will not be adding those to this game, especially so late. There are so many escalations it would just be a pain in the ass to navigate.
@Xarxos I think we have the same idea... I want to assign some variables to specific subcategories, not just the top row of categories.
Example pictures: https://ibb.co/2Y7ZJ4T https://ibb.co/fMF7y9S
I want to be able to have this leaderboard so that a difficulty variable (Professional/ Master/ Casual) is applied as a subcategory to the SASO subcategory, but only as a variable to the any% subcategory. Sadly this seems impossible with current UI.
As you can see, if I am trying to assign a variable to a specific subcategory, I can only do so with the top row of full game categories (map categories of S1, S2 etc). I cannot assign a variable to "SASO" or "any%" specifically.
And I'd rather not put SASO/ any% on the top row of categories, because it makes the rest of the board messier. Hope I explained my problem well and devs will look into it.
IDK if it's just me, but I'm getting the bug again where newly submitted runs don't show up on the leaderboards for a while unless you apply filters.
Documented 3 weeks back, thought it was fixed but apparently it's reappeared.
Change of policy.
Based on the last few months of reaching out to runners, the VAST majority of people do not care or are happy to see their runs featured here as well.
In the interest of having more complete and accurate leaderboards, the moderators will be submitting any public runs here on others' behalf, as is necessary. Moderators will ask permission before submitting any unlisted videos here.
People who do not want a particular run or runs here can make their displeasure known to one of the moderators here (my own social media links are on my profile), in which case the run will be anonymized (which is allowed by speedrun.com rules).

Can confirm with the other posters above there seems to be an issue right now that new submitted runs will not show up initially unless you show obsolete runs, or some other filter.
The runs all show up correctly eventually, but it can take several hours. Hope there is a fix in mind for this issue.
It's on ongoing bug the past couple of days that new submitted runs will only show up in obsolete or some other filter initially. The runs usually show up correctly eventually, but it can take several hours.
More corroborating evidence here: https://www.speedrun.com/the_site/thread/onfz6/63#fkfcy
The funny thing is, the person in "first" place any% full game was not even running the right game... they were playing on H2 legacy pack.

Honestly incredible this was verified to begin with.

From Pac: "The rule is they have to have not been online in over 6 months and have 0 submitted runs. "
A historical problem with this game is people not submitting runs, often due to forgetting to do it or not knowing the leaderboards existed here.
In the interest of having more complete and accurate leaderboards, the new moderator policy is that if you submit (or give permission to submit) even one run to this site, that is taken as tacit approval for moderators to submit other publicly available runs from you here, in all applicable categories.
If you do not want a specific run (or runs) listed, you are free to delete the run yourself assuming you have an speedrun.com account, as any runs submitted by moderators will be listed as under the runner's account.
If you do not have a speedrun.com account, but give permission to moderators to submit runs for you, the runs will be listed under your name but not tied to any account. If you want a particular run (or runs) deleted and you do not have a speedrun.com account, feel free to DM any of the moderators about this (my social media links are in my profile).
Hopefully this policy strikes a good balance between complete leaderboards, and respecting the privacy of players who don't want to be listed here.

These are the following Hitman speedrunning discord servers:
Hitman Runs Server (the "official" Hitman speedrun.com server)
- Best place to ask a general question regarding speedrun strats or run rules, and get information about announcements and polls for Hitman 3 speedrun.com leaderboards
Zebulaus (Server run by Zebulaus, a knowledgeable community member.)
- Good for more specific questions about a certain main mission speedrun strategy.
Frote's Server (server ran by Fortheseven aka Frote)
- Generally good Hitman knowledge, but not really focused on speedrunning main missions)
Well, Zebulaus and Frote's are both not officially affiliated with speedrun.com.
The "official" Hitman Runs server is the best place to get information on future announcements or polls regarding the Hitman 2016 speedrun leaderboards, even if people don't chat here all that much.

@sWinTuZ what video? Show the link.
In some maps you can start in different starting locations if you have the mastery level for that map. In addition the player may have trimmed out the menuing to a starting location part if it was an individual level run. Again, hard to say without seeing the video in question.
I have updated the rules, please read: https://www.speedrun.com/just_hitman/thread/8ja8s
Real Time is optional, I in fact prefer if you don't enter anything in Real Time box.
As also shown in the rules, you must play a bit of the loading screen or at least the opening cutscene to prove no saves were used. The recording then must continue to the rating screen. No rating screens= rejection.
Every level and category uses In-Game Time. For individual level runs, simply refer to the rating screen to check in-game time.
For full game runs, add up the rating screen time of each level. If you restart, you MUST have in game timer HUD on. In this case the time on the timer (when you reset) will be added to your IGT.
Hopefully this answers your question.
I'm going to preface this with a disclaimer that A this is an extensions board (our main page is not so cluttered) and B I know that IL heavy games seem to not be so common on this site. So I understand if this stuff is not a priority.
That said... the IL front page looks terrible with any kind of scroll bars. Please consider the following suggestions:
Option 1) Implement empty space on both sides of the IL front page better
Option 2) Make the row labels on the side scroll to the right with you when the user scrolls to the right. If widescreen from Option 1 is not implemented, then please do this option, so that the row labels stay on the left of the screen no matter how much to the right you scroll.
Regardless of whether Option 1 or 2 is chosen, also add scrolling column labels. It is incredibly hard to tell which column is which once you scroll down. If the column labels stayed at the top of the screen regardless of how far down you scrolled it would be so helpful.
There are like 3 people total who play this game actively right now, way less than H2. So I'm leaning towards no. I'm not even sure if H2 extensions was a good idea, with many categories still empty. And we have like up to 10 active players on H2 extensions.
There are a good deal of old H2016 runs that fall under extension conditions (fiberwire, sniper etc), but I really doubt people will be clamoring to submit 3 or 4 year old runs. This might be somewhat feasible if I submitted every historic extension run I could find without asking permission, but that also runs into ethical issues.
TL;DR probably no
