CanadaOkay, I messed around with it and figured it out. You have to have a run in a game to be able to add a resource to it.
What game are you trying to add a resource to? I don't think there's a game-specific setting to stop non-mods from adding resources (though I'm not able to confirm that at the moment), but if there is that could be the issue.
@ToxicToast1 For the purposes of deleting boards that aren't set up, "set up" means "regular users are able to submit runs". So as long as there's at least one category, the game is set up.
@CaffinatedYoshi Both the mods are active and have been online today, ask them first (and actually wait a reasonable amount of time for a response). This thread is meant to be a last resort for if current mods are inactive and can't be contacted, not a way to usurp active mods.
Also, you've only been on the site for 11 days, and as far as I can tell, you've never run the game, so I don't really see why you think you should be a mod in the first place.
I only have a problem with % at the end of a word if it doesn't make sense. Any% and 100% make sense (since it's "complete the game with any percent completion" and "complete the game with 100 percent completion" respectively). Low% sounds weird to me but it's acceptable (since it's something along the lines of "complete the game with the lowest possible percent completion"). But things like Tutorial% or Glitch% don't make sense since the word has nothing to do with the actual completion percentage, so they should probably omit the %.
While I have no special attachment to Any% as a category name (though I'd definitely choose it over "beat the game"), I'd be pretty annoyed if some random content moderator came to my game and changed any of my category names just because they don't like it and think it's a "stupid meme" (and I would likely just change it back immediately).

By your tone I'm guessing you've still made no attempt to contact the existing mod, which IS something you actually need to do, especially since they were online in the last 3 weeks. You can't usurp a mod (especially not one that's still technically active) just because the game is dead.

If that's literally all you're going to do as a moderator then I honestly think that leaderboard is better off without you.
@teddyras Try contacting the current mod first, they have their YouTube and Discord linked on their profile. This thread is meant to be a last resort for if mods are inactive for 3+ weeks and can't be contacted (or are being unreasonable).
Also, if you're planning on moving on from the game in a few weeks, are you sure you want to be responsible for moderating it for the foreseeable future?
@Komrade There's an option for that in the follow settings (and, IIRC, it's on by default). If you're not following a game that you moderate then you're doing something wrong.
@Overfiendvip Have you tried contacting the current mods through Twitter or Twitch? One of them was online earlier today, I guess they just aren't paying attention to the board for some reason.

For shorter runs you should probably just leave milliseconds on, but for longer runs that probably isn't necessary. For games that don't track milliseconds I feel like most runners will truncate their submitted time without even thinking about it so I feel like doing that makes things easier for everyone (though obviously that'll come down to the community).
@Minerali If you're not interested in taking over moderation then you'll have to find someone who is and direct them here.
When mods go inactive and there's no way to contact them, all we can really do is have them replaced.

@Cosmeme If you ask me, intentionally tampering with a leaderboard because it would be "funny" is a really good reason to lose your mod status. It's hard to take a leaderboard seriously if the people in charge of it are willing to submit fake runs as a joke.
Perhaps something needs to be done about SHiFT, I'm not in the community so I don't know what exactly is going on with that, but I think you were definitely in the wrong and shouldn't be re-modded anytime soon.
I think it would be an awful lot of work to add every level in every possible game mode, not to mention how cluttered the IL leaderboard would end up being as a result (there's already a lot going on there). There might be a good way to set it up, but doing that without turning the whole thing into an unrecognizable mess wouldn't be easy.
Now that I've been made the moderator for the game, I plan to implement these changes. Again, I'm still open to discussion on any of these points, but if there are no objections or concerns then I think I'll just go ahead and put this stuff in place.
@Freddie You're able to unmod yourself. For Run 1 you might want to appoint another moderator before you do that though, since the only other mod there hasn't been online in months.
Not sure if this is the right place for this since it's probably not a bot, but it seems pretty clear that the account was created specifically for the purpose of spamming/advertisement.
I would like to be made a Super Mod for Prototype 2 and the Prototype series. I submitted a run about a week ago, and around the same time I posted in the forum about some possible improvements for the leaderboard (defining rules, difficulty subcategories, etc). The run hasn't been verified yet and the forum post hasn't been acknowledged. I realize that a week isn't very long, but considering the circumstances I didn't feel it was necessary to wait any longer.
The first mod, Arrowth, hasn't been online in over a month (and, from what I can tell, usually only comes online about once every 2 months), and has no social media links so it's impossible to contact them. The other mod, Mic8, hasn't been online in over 3 months. When I contacted him through Twitch, he told me that he never wanted to be a mod in the first place and just told me to get the site admins to deal with it. These two are also the mods for the series. Neither of them seem interested in maintaining the leaderboard (or doing much of anything on the site), so I think they should be removed. As far as I know I'm the only active runner for the game, so I'm fully willing to moderate it.
Also, I think it would be a good idea to place DaMidget2000 as another Super for the series, since he's the most active mod for the first game (and while we're at it, he should probably be promoted to Super for that game, since the only Super there has been offline for 3 months and has no working social media links).

@Jmak What makes you so sure that he has seen the run and is intentionally ignoring it? And where exactly is he "being a complete ass to the other runners"?
If what HowDenKing said was correct and there's 6 runs waiting to be verified, all from the last 48 hours, then you just need to wait a little longer. He verified some runs yesterday so he will get around to it, just give him some time.
