Because, you notice how you can't do anything for some time because of the fact that Mario is entering and exiting the pipe. The ingame timer isn't that accurate anyway But you should keep trying to find ways to save time, you might find something else! I encourage that
This doesn't actually save time because time spent entering and exiting the pipe (down time) which is also when the timer is not counting down is longer in the end

There is no easy speedrun.
Too hard? I wouldn't say it's too hard. It's just the fact that you need general skills to do the levels, and then you just need to get lucky to PB. This kind of speedrun is a mainly patience speedrun, where you practice general skill, then you just need to grind runs until you get lucky enough to PB, and lucky enough to not get kicked.
For some reason recently the server has been kicking me much much much much less, I think on one stream I only counted getting kicked twice!

Looking back it's actually hardly any attempts at all, please, 300 attempts to PB? That's fast. The fact that it took 69 attempts to beat this game in 6 min 23 sec is STUPID. And the fact that I still haven't matched that luck (Yes, my 5 min 24 sec time is actually STILL not as good RNG as the 6 min 23 sec one) Is pretty amazing. I was so impatient back then compared to now PogChamp. Someday I might get better RNG PogChamp which would basically be sub 5
