I found this, and was very surprised, this is me on BizHawk, can you tell me what this is? New two frame setup? Edit: So what I think it was, was either, the koopa+weird/slow turn around or just the turnaround, managed to manipulate the subpixel, like normal to frame setup does. This allows for 366s in second room, with 2 frame setup, without 379 first room.
Ya, and I never let go of "B", so no normal two frame setup. Was just practicing NTSC for 5:10, and then going back to PAL.
Kosmicd12 references that (bopping the turtle) in his newer tutorial video. It's an alternate setup to falling off the lip
I usually already have 2 frames to do the walljump when I do 1 frame setup, I know because Mario does this weird animation and jumps lower than normal. Hold on your just practicing NTSC and then going back to PAL? No PB?
@luck_eck_ducks I am running NTSC until I get 5:10, then going back to PAL,
This was on NTSC, but I was practicing this just for fun, and I noticed this.
"luck_eck_ducks" How do you make those mistakes lmao? Anyway I'm back in this forum post just to say that I feel this method of jumping off the koopa makes Wall jump extremely easy to set up, whether your backward or forward (easier this way with backward than the other way with forward even!) I suggest trying it out, you might feel the same way too.
If you can do the 1 frame jump at the beginning fine, or are willing to practice it, it may actually be more consistent than the easiest wall jump method. Just how I feel about it though.
Effective immediately, any submissions using the SNES9x emulator will not be verified. The SMB1 mod team has concerns about its integrity due to its ability to overclock and remove lag frames, which may not be easily detectable. Additionally, we request that all BizHawk submissions avoid using the S
