I have the 35th Anniversary Game & Watch (Mario Edition) and in the rule set, it never states that it can be used. Is there are reason for this? Perhaps is there a different frame rate? I need to know why because it is bugging me.. Thanks!
the rules just has a list of all of the aproved ones if it is not in the list, probably is not allowed to use it seems kind of an odd version so makes sense that it works diferent
The rules state every allowed platform. Anything not listed there is not allowed. The reason why a particular platform might not be allowed could range from "it doesn't behave like original hardware" to "the mods haven't gotten around to verifying/don't have enough data to verify that it behaves like original hardware".
Now, as for the Game & Watch, I timed a few runs on mine a while back and it seems to run slightly faster (???) than expected, but I'm not entirely sure on that yet. If it does in fact actually run faster than an original NES then that seems like a good reason to not allow it. :p
I don't it is original hardware, cuz the minus world doesn't exist, it is only world 7-2 with weird spawning zones Same as the emulator on the switch
@RP_Boy_Gaming that's exactly what the minus world is, just 7-2 but you infinitely loop. It's the same on every single plateform except the Famicom Disk System
Lollll sorry🤣 Clearly I am misinformed... I thought that the minus world from the famicom system existed in every maeio game
Effective immediately, any submissions using the SNES9x emulator will not be verified. The SMB1 mod team has concerns about its integrity due to its ability to overclock and remove lag frames, which may not be easily detectable. Additionally, we request that all BizHawk submissions avoid using the S
