Input delay (switch running)

I’m wondering for the SWITCH runners out there (or any runners with a lot of knowledge). Is there truly a difference here? I ask because I am having a very hard time with consistencies on the pipe jumps. I have a PB of 5:09, my sum of best segments would be 459, but I am losing almost all my runs on the pipe jumps. I typically get to 8-1 and just miss one. I rarely have problems with 8-2 or 8-4 pipe jump. It is largely the pipe jumps crushing me.

I watch other runners largely handle the pipe jumps fairly consistently.

I’m wondering if it’s worth it to move to a NES CLASSIC or if I should just carry on with the SWITCH.

My goal is just sub 5.

Thanks all,

NES Classic and the Switch have pretty much the same amount of lag. Yes there is some input delay, but you can easily adapt. If you truely want the best experience, NES + CRT TV is the best combo
