I was wondering why my run got rejected. The rejection reason was that "Optifine is not allowed for versions 1.16 and up". When I look at the list of speed runs, I see that many people used Optifine and their run got verified. If I can get an explanation that would be great.
this rule was implemented recently so runs previous to that were verified with Optifine but now expect them to be rejected if you use Optifine.
Read the rules before submitting a run.
You can use optifine on 1.14 with specific settings. Also a good thing to do is read the rules.
This will not affect anybody who has updated their mods in the last 17 months. If you have updated your mods recently, you may ignore this message.
