Your first two posts hammer the point home. Your are snarky and by extension being uncivil, and I double checked I was using the right words to describe the impression I got so I wasn't mistake. Your third post didn't have enough to comment on one way or another and only on your fourth post do you actually get to the point and be more civil after claiming you are the only one who's being civil. Already by this point I already had this impression of you and the behaviour of the other parties is completely irrelevant at this point. Either they are in the right or both sides are in the wrong.

Assuming you were civil before and assuming what you say is accurate, to me, I don't see how your thread heading and first two posts helps your case. If being civil got you no where then take it up with a higher authority, put up with it, or quit. Just to follow up. Kuma or hypghost or whoever that is... do you recall the NMS category? Recall how Zheal fought against it despite ToastMatt and others "voting" for it and saying they wanted it? These "facts" you claim are hardly facts at all. Snowboarding didn't just appear. There was discussion in the discord about adding it, and no one was against it except when Ptown wanted to stir shit up.

Mods did not make the FF7 WR history video. Personally, I was asked if footage of mine could be used and I said yes; that was the extent of my involvement in the process. If you have such a huge issue with that video, the mods aren't the people to be directing your complaints to about it.

I legitimately want to know why you think the mod team is corrupt. What actual evidence do you have that supports such a claim? Whenever we've made changes to the leaderboards since I've been here, we've always had discussions between us and the community and we haven't done something like toss out the community's choice and say "this is how things are because we feel like it", so I'm really curious what your evidence of corruption is.

If mods can't be trusted to verify their own runs, why would they be a moderator in the first place? I personally don't like self-verification myself, but it shouldn't be some huge cause for alarm if people do it.

Why should "sonic discs" get banned? They are official hardware and since we've narrowed down which discs are fast, it's not even an issue of wondering why people are saving/losing time to loads. If you don't want to play on hardware, there is emulator, PC, or HD consoles you can play on (HD consoles likely have their own issues with various speed differences between consoles).

Overall, your posts are very inflammatory and they honestly just seem like you are trying to continue the misinformation/accusations/drama that we put a stop to with Ptown; they barely provide any substance and are filled with "he said, she said" kind of stuff, in my opinion.

You seem to be really hung up on the FF7 WR history video, which Luz was very critical of (which is fine), but like I said, why are you directing your issues with it to the mods here as we didn't make that video? We moderate the leaderboards and the discord, that is all. If someone makes a video about FF7 speedruns, saying whatever they want, how is that our responsibility?

Also, I know Luz says MC has WR over Zheal because of load time differences, but how do you know the exact same RNG would've happened in MC's run if he had the fast loads? You can't say that, because the load times actually affect the battle RNG as the global frame counter is incrementing during load times, so they are, in fact, part of the run itself.

I'll likely be locking this thread soon as it seems like a lot of going in circles, but I'll leave it open for now for actual productive responses.

The problem is that even yourself spreads incorrect misinformation.

1. Chefbahm actually hates SCM with a passion. He never wanted it to even be a thing, yet you claim he was the pioneer for SCM existing. It was actually Hype_gh0st who pioneered for it to begin with and I believe he was one of the people who found you can seed the run based of date and time. You can find evidence to support my arguments as he was trying to find a seed a while back with a crit on aps History certainly does matter but ultimately its seems like history in general some of it is incorrect and misinformed. Even to the point I get called a liar for rewriting it as I do not have evidence to prove points and only the individual can vouch for it. Some recent history that has been disputed includes:
2. Elevator Manip. It was developed by Hype_gh0st sometime early 2021 with specifically the arm swings manipulation that was developed on console. I don't have evidence as he took down all of his vods, but he had the PC any % WR with the hard reset method, credit however for this method goes mainly to brutalspeed as it was of his work or at least his spreadsheet, so all hype can get here is maybe being the first to do it on PC and being the pioneer for using it publically. Something I was not aware of and only have zheals word for was that he was involved in early days testing of the hard reset method or at least testing of the elevator in general. I do not at all dispute this however he has claimed he was technically the first to do the elevator manip and by that measure he may consider himself correct. But wouldn't brutalspeed be the first if he was the guy who devised the spreadsheet to begin with? So now you get into a sticky argument about who is entitled to the accreditation so the best way to resolve it is not accrediting anyone naturally and that is what happened.
3. Fury ring. It has been argued that fury ring against Demons gate was not even Luzbels idea to begin with however is considered the Luzbel strat. Luzbel himself has stated that fury ring was used way before himself in days of using tifa and he would be correct. The argument however was specifically using fury ring with cloud and the first individual who used this was themattdavis_ now they personally may stay distant away from any accreditation regarding this, but there are messages which currently persist with the discord of him clearly showing the fury strat on DG and claiming it is far quicker than dice and no one else really used the method till Luzbel looked into it. Once again you can debate all day long here so who do you accredit for using fury ring and truth is you can't really accredit anyone.

• No Long range. This route also has been heavily disputed. Arguably the true no long range route existed for as long as the slots run has existed, but of course the idea of using stays strictly with no slots. Even with using in no slots, early days yuffie route was developed which would not require it, AFAIK and even I may have incorrect information as it was before my time so please correct me but this was developed by meesbaker and deathtome. All i know is sometime mid 2021 that meesbaker was routing a yuffie route using elevator, I often saw dummibear run the route and I asked well why not just run without long range instead and you can lose the time loss of getting yuffie. Honestly I did not get the point of yuffie although I liked it was fun idea and a good alternative. I actually started to run offline very briefly doing no long range before kalm skip and started to get ideas of how it would be viable. When Kalm skip came out I had to do some reruns and then I started to tell dummibear, rj and others of my findings within discord that a no long range is actually more viable. I was questioned about how tifa would survive or deal enough damage and I pointed out anything after temple you can front row her and as the bosses are magic damage she gets no more hurt than normal. There was 2 stumbling points regarding a faster DG strat also was only throwing mollies however RG pointed out deathblow was doing long range so this is where deathblow and dice was first then being used, then later game carry armour was considered a big worry but I pointed out actually carry armour would kill tifa anyway with a lapis at low HP, and she can tank at least 1 hit of the arms, so the biggest worries of the run was actually Hojo and safer. I knew at the time safer is doable as you only need to kill before he rises so for me the main issue was hojo as the counter attack could kill tifa and to date this is still very yolo, my only backup would be getting 2 covers but that would mean getting the early ether at sector 7, 2 potions, the hyper and a hi potion which is around 15 seconds time loss. I even developed a backup for shadowflare to cast reflect but once again buying barrier would cost about 20 seconds so this all eats into the time save for not using long range. I wasnt accrediting for finding or developing any of these strats despite being the pioneer for the route to begin with. I dont want or expect accreditation but then often hear Luzbel be accrediting for said route when he was actually one of the later people to even try the route publically. I may even hear about RJ or dummibear being the first to do so, that would at least be more correct but not completely as they wouldnt not have even looked into the route if i didnt prove my case that the thing was viable to begin with. But ultimately I wouldnt have looked into if it hadnt been for yuffie route so who would you accredit? Once again you cant accredit anyone really.

• Step routing specifically after kalm skip. No one can dispute the very first step route after kalm skip was zheals, anything after this can be disputed though. Luzbels step route he made he claims zheal made a stream shortly after and claimed it was his own, its not entirely correct but I know kind of how he feels despite being unaware that his route was a copy as well. Specifically there was a route made by zergu12 which walked at the beginning of reactor 1 but then was pretty much like for like on luzbels route: as the VOD is dated 16th may 2022 it doesnt prove my story as luzbel made his route sometime either early april or early march, zergu12 can maybe provide evidence of when he started doing runs and ultimately I am tired of fighting his battles. All I care about is the after math when zheal made the long range route because I had a stream where I was looking into the same reactor zergu12 did above which was similiar to meesbakers yuffie route however zergu12 was the first to be able to talk to tifa first then aerith which actually saves quite a few steps making it possible to hit early jenova pre-empitive if going for no long range. Now granted he was on PC but I showed you can do his reactor set up with a few minor tweaks and showed RJ that you can do it on psx on his stream. I had my own route up to corel was almost like for like what zheal developed after but I had 3 bomb encounters (the 2 bombs being at the bridge just after the vacuums as my steps were not as good as his by this point) I am aware that neon_genesis brought such a route to zheals attention so I believe and stated about my route being used but i was never consulted by zheal I saw him conduct the same reactor as devised by myself and shown to RJ, zheal improved by forcing the enc in a better spot but I think maybe RJ found the spot, after wards it had 20 steps in broken road which is similiar to yuffie route/ the route i was looking into. So here we go who gets credit for the route? Me? Luzbel? Zheal? RJ? Zergu12? Or meesbaker for being the pioneer for yuffie route in the first place and was the first to even make a underwalked reactor route with pre aps. And yes I am aware luzbel he ran the reactor in his route but as I show in the above vod its the same steps just not the same formations. Its actually pretty much the route RJ is using now which im pretty sure saves one enc of luzbels route. Even on all this themattdavis_ also looked into many routes around this time for long range and non long range. His route is presently being used for PC atm. So once again who do you accredit?

• Ptown. i seen alot of attacks on the guy, he is not a bad guy though. I always had plenty respect for him maybe cos i knew him early early days before his 200 viewers and I am not certain to why alot of people hate him now perhaps because he started to publically take the piss but he spoke alot on his stream before about how shitty he thought the mods of src were. I dont agree with his comments however his arguements show value as he was pissed off at firstly the turbo and non turbo shenanigans. I seen kingsnaka try to comment on ptowns cheating but AFAIK Ptown purposely submitted the run to prove a point. You realize NMS is and has been a category for a while, right? "New guy" is not a mod, it's dean0. Your claims are exactly that, claims, not evidence. All I see is text from you in here which isn't actual evidence. If you want to prove something, that onus is on you, not me.
