Almost every single nether if there is a bastion within range of my render distance, whenever I e-ray, I will usually get a max entity count of 20 or less. For example, there was this one nether where the bastion was 190 blocks away from where I scanned (I checked afterwards), and I scanned absolutely everywhere, getting a max entity count of 18. Mods I am using: Sodium, Lithium, and Phosphor. I turned off entity culling and set my entity distance to 500%. I am also using Java 16 if that even matters. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
Also, I know there is a bastion within my render distance because E is greater than M+C by around 30.
you might be using an older version of sodium, if its not that then idk
Well there are only 2 files for sodium: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/sodium/files. I've been using the older one for 1.16.1.
@AdamVonBadam "I turned off entity culling..." Also, I already found the problem anyway. I was apprently using a very out of date sodium version. I just installed the new version and tested it, and it definitely works.
@Pastapalads Yeah apparently I was using the 1.16.1 version from last July or something. I just installed the new version, and it definitely works. Thanks for the suggestion.
@energy980 well thats not the right sodium. You should be using the one released on github by mangohands, not the jellysquid version
@xBlitzy1 Yeah those are the mods I installed. Its turns out I was using an outdated version of all 3 mods for around a month plus. I just googled sodium and downloaded it. Never really knew which one to download. 1k+ seeds on the wrong damn mod version. Well whatever, whoops I guess.
