Texas, USAIt's called "Bevel's Painting." It's a pretty simple puzzle/horror RPG Maker game in the same vein as games like "The Witch's House" and "Ib" with 10 endings (plus one secret ending!) Most of the run is probably gonna be prefecting movement and menu navigation, since there's only, like, 1 point where there's any RNG. I'll be practicing while I wait for my account to be old enough to request the game. I got a sub 15 min. any% run before going to bed yesterday, which was my goal for my first full playthrough attempts!! Got very excited when I did it, haha.
Back in 2020, when Animal Crossing: New Horizons was new and really popular, I spent 10-14 hours (don't remember the exact amount but it was around that timeframe) trying to catch one fish before the season changed, meaning I'd have to wait about 9 to 10 months to try again. During that time, my brother had both gone to bed and woken up to me still playing on his switch (didn't have my own one at the time) trying to catch a single, stupid fish. It was... not a good idea. Nor fun. I hadn't eaten basically at all during that time and barely ate anything the day before, making me feel absolutely AWFUL. I had become so exhausted that I could barely walk back to my room after my brother made me stop for my own well-being. ...Yea 👍
I have a small handful of games I absolutely adore and can never decide which is number one on my list. A few of those games are Splatoon 2 (and probably Splatoon 3 when that comes out,) Ib, Animal Crossing: City Folk/New Leaf/New Horizon (I love all the customization options in NH but CF and NL are the most nostalgic for me,) and Tomodachi Life.

We've both started making a route for it and I feel like it's pretty solid. I have never done this (I don't think my friend has either,) and I'm quite excited to get into the speedrunning community after watching people like SmallAnt and AstralSpiff for about a year. ^^
