I have it on an external hard drive somewhere around here. I'll see if I can dig it up.

How do you even run a Guitar Hero game? Doesn't that game run at the same speed regardless of mistakes?

Does that mean you're officially no longer a n00b? What is the cutoff date for that?

and the respawn time sucks. The tutorial lasted 18 years but I still haven't figured out the controls yet.

In general, it is safe to say that there is always going to be someone better than us at any game we play. We may hold the WR in an obscure category of an obscure game, but don't let that fool you into thinking that you're the best in the world at it.

Competition in this community is generally against ourselves rather than against others, and that it what makes it a lot more pleasant and less toxic than communities that are driven by players competing against each other. Most of the games I run are single-player, so there's not really a way for us to compete against each other (though we do sometimes via SRL), so we are competing against our best times rather than competing to beat another person.

From my perspective, this question is irrelevant, because the person you are competing against is yourself. If we are doing the best that we can, whether or not the rest of the community uses our strat or not doesn't really matter.

Looking up "wrong warps" might yield some interesting results.

Legend of Zelda has some real gems from just about every game:

If you understand how the RNG affects the game, the next step is to figure out how to determine the RNG values using only the cues given to you in-game. The goal being to cut out the middle-man (memory viewing) entirely. For instance, if you can find the game's "dead zones" by just playing, how can you use that information to determine what the values in memory are without actually looking at the memory?

In Super Mario Bros, there are certain cues you can look at on the screen to gauge the RNG for the level. I don't know it as well as some people do, but there's one level where you hit a star block to save a frame rule. Whether or not you have to hit the block on the first pixel or not depends on some RNG, but there's a certain pixel in the floor blocks that you can look at to tell which one it is. The game has a bunch of stuff like this, including how to determine the hammer bros spawn locations and bowser's hammer cycle using the in-game timer that's better explained here:

Occam's razor. Sometimes a stream drops some serious frames when the streamer's significant other decides to watch Netflix at the same time as the stream. It happens.

Happy Friday everyone! I came across a murder scene this morning:

https://i.imgur.com/eMGOS72.jpg

Apparently it's not a very happy Friday for Mr. Camel. Who could possibly have done this?

https://i.imgur.com/SQXSlFw.jpg

I interviewed the usual suspects- they all seem clean. The door was locked the entire time, so who could possibly have- WAIT! WHAT IS THIS?

https://i.imgur.com/KoL2HHY.jpg

There seems to be some sort of trail leading down the hallway. Could this be the clue I was looking for? What could possibly be at the end of this trail?

https://i.imgur.com/0nWQOTn.jpg

The trail leads into this room, then vanishes without a trace. There is nothing here that could have possibly committed this atrocious crime; just a cute doggy taking a doggy nap.

Happy Friday everyone! I'm gonna have to close this case as unsolveable, but If you find any leads, you can find me at the pet store looking for a new doggy toy.

I like how I can make macaroni and cheese basically whenever I want. Also, cinnamon rolls. They come in prepackaged little dough hunks and they're delicious.

Agree with @Komrade. Let people say what they want to say; people will make up their own minds. If that's what his viewers enjoy, I don't see a reason to keep them from their enjoyment.

Part of gaining popularity is that people will make fun of you; how we choose to react to it shows far more about our character than one little video can. Being able to make fun of ourselves and laugh along with those that make fun of us is a sign of maturity.

EDIT: I'm not sure if you watched the whole video, but he's actually giving us a lot of respect
