Me thinking its okay to use a knife in a handgun only run makes me a hypocrite As I would never use the handgun in re2r knife only run because I was hugely against it.

I was thinking going into save and than dieing from the flash drive room. The save is seconds away.

If using the handgun to stair skate knife only run is allowed. Breaking boxes with a knife in handgun only should be allowed. Especially with the lack of ammo.

For example saving before 1st nemmy will allow you to cut a ladder climb when dieing and continuing if manual save overrides autosave on continue.

It was the saving i was wondering about. Continuing allowed and save loading not allowed i knew already.

I was thinking while i was working. Its possible this idea is false since you may have to load in from save to make that save the continue point. I will check when i get home.

When you save you override the autosave and when you die and continue you will continue from save instead of autosave location. Itll still add time like continuing and not saving. Just change location of continue.

When you save you cant use it to load just used to alter location when you continue on death.

In handgun only if we are using deaths to lower DA can we save so when we die and continue we start from there instead of autosave?

Watched up to sewers. Many handgun ammo locations I didnt know before up to that point. Thanks for that info. Also only use 2 shots up to that part(use knife for boxes and such, but may not need to now). So with that ammo saved and added ammo location I may try again.

Also I estimate a 1:10-1:20 time.

Ima stall on standard for now. Rather do multiple runs on assisted for fun instead of grinding out 1 standard run. Not worth the hassle atm.

I have ran through assisted with no upgrades or g18. However I believe upgrades should be allowed in standard as well as the g18. The 66 bullets from g18 and extended mag make a huge difference. You are already going out of your way too much(in my opinion) in standard for ammo.

Not allowing them on assisted is fine though, if thatll be a thing.

I wanted to get through the run deathless. I might throw a death in just to see how different that makes nest2 hunters.

The only way to do it is the dodge or catch them in an attack animation. They are hopping all over the place. and all the zombies double lunge especially the naked ones. The tentacle zombies are attacking with the tentacle and then lunge instantly after. Stuff I never seen on higher difficulties even. Feels like hardcore not standard. I will take more damage earlier in nest2 later when I play. See what happens.

I think my DA is too high, zombies double lunging which is 8k isnt it? Im on console so theres no way to check. But I will load an earlier save and take some damage and see if that changes anything.

I prefer him on the tower. Which if you stand under it he will always jump from it. So if you dont want him to jump from it possibly find where you do like him jumping from and stand right under it.

I like the tower because he wont hit you when jumps off if you are in the right spot and he will corner you which is nice for dodge counter attacks.

You may lose time while hes running in circles like dork but if executed right youll gain time by strings of dodge counters.

On standard earlier i got stuck at the nest 2 hunters as i ran out of ammo each time.

Pretty sure if i get enough ammo past hunters the rest is a breeze.

On the 19th submissions will start being recieved. So we should have start of categories and rules for each by than.

Assisted is possible with unupgraded G19 and whatever carlos has, In doing so Ive learned that Standard will be impossible or extremely tight to do typical handgun only.
