We had this before, but it was specifically one with Lucio and one with Wrecking Ball. I've been meaning to add it again, but making a mode in the Workshop with checkpoints for each map would be ideal, and a timer that tracks your time from point A to point B for each map.
For future runs, you could also just stream on Twitch. If you don't wanna stream to people, create an alt account and don't include any tags when you start streaming. This is what I do sometimes and no one joins my ghost streams :) Then just highlight the run when you're done. You could even just stream the playback of your 12 hour run, then highlight it.
currently if you update a run's player name or something else small, mods will get notified as if it's a brand new run submission. this can potentially waste a lot of time especially since minor changes aren't highlighted or easily noticeable.
a good reference would be discogs.com - when you edit information from an album there, all the changes are highlighted (plus all previous edits/changes are documented and easily accessible).
I agree with Light on this one. A bit too short and arbitrary
@DontRezzMe ideally it would be cool to add them but it's awkward to add those types of categories with the limitations that this site has, especially since there are so many genji maps/variations
@JAG379 we had a category for that in our OW1 leaderboards. it was death% in all maps in one run. if you show an example run, we might add it again
I mean, just by looking at the mod's profile, I'd say he is definitely inactive here on SRC. He hasn't logged on in almost 1 year...
If I didn't even bother checking SRC in almost a year, I wouldn't mind if people removed / replaced my mod status. I'd encourage it.
Here are all the current Mastery Missions and the order when they become playable (2 per week):
01 - Wing It 02 - Against All Odds
03 - Pathfinder Parkour 04 - Scatter Shot
05 - Vantage Point 06 - Pathfinder's High Jump
07 - Kraber Challenge 08 - Rapid Rush
09 - Pure Adrenaline 10 - Fire in the Hole
EDIT:
EDIT (12/07/22):
So Scatter Shot is up with Ziplining Invaders this week. I'm guessing it's just random now? Scatter Shot was usually with Pathfinder Parkour.
The level leaderboards need a massive update, and I hope they implement at least some of those updates soon.
Hey, there was currently no plan to add it, but the Lucio Surf community pretty much has its own leaderboards. You can check em out here: https://discord.gg/G9QBCDY
Their website doesn't seem up-to-date, but their spreadsheet leaderboards are. They even have a points system based on how well you perform in each map (for discord server roles).
IMO if we do, we could maybe add one of the LS seasons: Seasons 1 and 2 are simply point A to point B (KVKKR / MA09Q) Seasons 3-5 start including checkpoints (Z4NJR / RM0TW / H87HH)
And perhaps just GravSpeed since that seems to be the more popular of the two modes.
Yea I think that'd be fun. There's 8 bot difficulties now tho. Maybe we could have 2 sub categories for each map? Beginner and Aimbot difficulties. Or maybe just whatever difficulty the runner wants like in the OW1 leaderboards.
Yea ideally it'd be better to wait until the workshop is officially live. That way someone that knows how to code it could help us make checkpoints, plus an in-game timer. Kinda like how the Lucio Surf community made theirs. Would make it easier for everyone to speedrun and know exactly what their time is.
It looks like the moderator for that game hasn't verified runs in almost a year. You can ask for help here: https://www.speedrun.com/knowledgebase/supporthub/request-moderation
Parece que el moderador de ese juego no ha verificado speedruns en casi un año. Puedes pedir ayuda aquí: https://www.speedrun.com/knowledgebase/supporthub/request-moderation
Yep I agree! We've updated the sub-categories for Practice Range. They now have: All Heroes (Season 1), Tank Only, Damage Only, and Support Only
it's for individual heroes. for grouped roles like your example, we can add that to the regular PR category as sub-categories if people want :)
we had it here also: https://www.speedrun.com/overwatch#Practice_Range
