A licensed game doesn't change anything about the fact thats it's not a good game
Request it here: https://www.speedrun.com/requestgame
@Panthermon He just streamed a few days ago on twitch, contact him there
It's not when you want to retime a run, because with a timer you would need to watch the whole video again which is just a waste of time and not accurate enough anyway.
Ask him on twitter to verify your runs: https://twitter.com/Choto_TheBright Hes very active there
Could you link the game? Would be helpful
If the game is already on the site you don't need to, just use that thread If the game isn't on the site yet, you should request it
Might be helpful if you could name the game
If the mods are inactive in 3 weeks and you couldn't contact them, use this thread (be sure to read the first post!): https://www.speedrun.com/The_Site/thread/63nr7
I have access to the following:
I don't have any special permissions on "Schedule", "Submit run" (can't submit any runs for others, only for myself), "View submitted runs" and "Forum".
When clicking on "Edit marathon" it just shows the text "You don't have permission for this marathon."
I can sign up and look at all signups.
BillyClem98 asked me if I would like to test out the Verifier role on Marathons since it was untested and I would like to help in doing that
You need moderators that know and will run the game (or at least help searching glicthes, routes etc.), sorry but I never heard of it so I probably won't run it
It also depends on the length, if it covers a bit of somewhat important information for like a second I think approving and contacting the runner would be better than rejecting but if it would cover these informations for like a minute, rejecting would be a better idea there imo
Javascript is something every browser today supports, I don't see a reason to code for hours just so the 2 users a year can see something without it
There are multiple ways, here are some of them: Look at the video, if it looks like a part of a video is missing it could be spliced, be aware of framedrops and lag!! Some just don't have a good enough PC to record a good run without lag! Look at the audio with a program like Audacity, sometimes youll notice the split between the two seperate videos
It may help to look at this video:
Ill repeat myself here but just keep in mind that some people can't record with a good quality! Not every run that seems spliced at first is actually spliced, talk with the runner first!
^ OBS or XSplit, the best programs to record PC
For Wii U, you either need a capture card (Elgato and Avermedia are the best) or a camera/webcam/phone to record your TV while playing, it's enough for speedruns!
Sure, a camera is perfectly fine! Just be sure that you can see the full screen and audio if possible, not required but helps when people accuse you of cheating
Is it possible to do it so you dont get notifications of new runs when you verified these runs?
