ValhallaUnder extra variables/subcategories, you'll have to add a value first before ticking off "Use as subcategory" once you input a new variable, the value or values being the name of the subcategories you want

There hasn’t been much testing on how accurate timewise the timer is so I wouldn’t know, we actually only just found out about the time being reverted on death not that long ago
Unfortunately the in-game timer is actually not accurate in that if you die, the time is reverted along with the checkpoint, so you could keep dying if you don't like a specific segment and then end up with a really good time
Doesn't seem to be happening anymore, just tried it leaving the rejection reason box up for 5-6 minutes whereas yesterday the error would happen within a second or two

You can record the playback from your phone, the files that are saved for playback aren't actual recordings, but a collection of your inputs + the RNG seed + any settings you may have and it takes all of that and plays it back in real-time when you view it on your 3DS
It would be neat for the Statistics page if you could click on any of the dots in the WR History timeline and it take you to that submission or video to watch
Are you sure you applied it to the game(s)? If you change a notification setting under default notification settings you still have to select the Apply default to all followed games button, it won't automatically apply to any games you followed pre-settings change, only post
