So I guess both are good, just depends on how confident you are with your movements... Overall, by implementing all these damage boosts, what would be the time saved over doing the route with only 1 heart ? (and how much time do you loose to go grab both hearts ?)

Added Sticky Thread for Pneuma : Breath of Life speedrun.com page changes.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all. ;)
Just remember that my movements are bad, so don't judge only on my video. ;)
In Amazing Horseshoe, I was dropping (when I failed to bring damage boost in the speedruns months ago...) on the brute itself, I don't really see a time difference between your strat and mine, maybe a few frames... I don't know...
You can change key binds by changing manually a file (don't remember which one, and don't have time to look now). For the graphics I had to put the resolution on minimum, kind helped me get a few FPS, but still not exceptionnal...
No problem, could've happen to anyone. ;) And at least, your run is valide. I got a WR 2 days ago, but twitch skipped 2 whole minutes on the VOD... :'(
The game is the same, but console has limitations PC doesn't have... In a long term, I think you will not be able to WR on console... But I guess we'll see...
That's what I was thinking about, but I don't want to take initiatives other mods might not agree with. But basically, the advantages of PC over console for this game are these two :
- Better sensitivity control. Partially due to mouse accelaration. Meaning you can have a manageable sensitivity while doing puzzles likes the floor/ceiling puzzle of Chapter 3 or Puzzle II-3 of Chapter 5 (where you look at the ceiling and turn on yourself for about 2 rotations clockwise) really fast (well at least, way faster than with a controller).
- Possibility to change resolution. Not a big thing, but with a more "square"-like resolution (more height, less width), some puzzles like the last one of Chapter 4 (where you gotta spin each segments of the pillar and watch all 5 eyes at the same time) becomes easy af.
Finally managed to run it... We might have to separate PC and console runs... some puzzles are significantly faster on PC...
I bought it... can't run the game on my PC... :'(
For anybody who would be intestered by the PC version of the game, it is at 5$ (5€ for us europeans) right now on Steam. The offer ends December 1.
Ok, adding ILs. We'll see if runs are submitted and see. Probably gonna submit my gold splits if I still have the VOD for them.
Simple question : Should we add ILs ?
I'd say yes, but I'd like to know what other mods/runners think about it.
Modified the date of the run (was submitted as a Nov. 26 run) to the date of the video : Mar. 19.
I think we can roll with these rules. Seeing all 3 mods agreed with these rules, I edited the 100% category rules (also did a small edit on the any% category rules for clarifications on the timing). Can any of you double check and edit if it needs ?
I don't think running a games ruins it, but I can understand. Anyway, nice finds. Thank you very much for sharing.
I'd say that you don't need to complete ch5 both times... Here's the rules as I see them :
- Start New Game.
- Finish all chapters at least once (in order ? I'd say yes, but needs to be agreed between runners of Pneuma).
- Finish both Body (Ch3), Spirit (Ch2) and Soul puzzles.
- Loading times are removed, time spent in menu counts for the final time.
Depending on what we agree for rule number one, the run could be following this order : Prologue, Ch1, Ch2(Spirit), Ch3(Body), Ch4, Ch5, Ch6(Soul1), [Epilogue ?], Ch1(Soul2), Ch5(Soul3), Ch2(Soul4), Ch6(Soul5), [Epilogue ?] Either you finish Ch6 on first part of Soul puzzle, then you can decide to do Epilogue right now, or you finish Ch6 on the end of the Soul puzzle and you'll have no choice but finish your run by Epilogue.
The second order (if we decide that you don't need complete the chapters in order), would be : Prologue (new game), Ch6(Soul1), [Epilogue ?], Ch1(Soul2), [Ch4 ?], Ch5(Soul3), Ch2(Soul4+Spirit), Ch3(Body), [Ch4 ?], Ch6(Soul5), [Epilogue ?] Epilogue : same thing as above. And for Ch4 : either you decide to chain Ch4 and Ch5, or you chain Ch2, Ch3 and Ch4.
Might seem quite obscure... If I have time, I'll try to do a small infographic.
I don't think you can submit for someone else. Our best bet would be to contact the runner and tell him to submit the run himself.
I've been trying to hit the first one multiple time with no success. GG.
The second one is imo, not really useful (would be if you could jump above the railing), I guess the strat I'm using on my PB is the fastest we could get so far. As for the 3rd one, I hit it multiple times, but I'm way too inconsistent on this skip to implement it in a run.
The 2 others are great finds, I'll concentrate my work on this 2 for now.
ps : Zecora, when's your first run submission for this game ? ^^
Moderator came back and named a second moderator (00Svo). So problem solved. ^^
