it'd be nice for many many games
Ok it's straight up not letting me edit this post.
@jackzfiml I could use some help filling the MKFusion leaderboards if u want.
Was playing some odyssey and had my power go out. That was on my (current) PB of a 1:13, it was a godly run and I'm sad about it, OBS cut out at around 1 hour in.
Since video proof is needed for runs on the board, here's my unofficial time, figured I'd put it somewhere.
A lot could be wrong, it depends on your setup. However most of the time, it's that your PC can't handle it. Is your computer powerful enough to run what you're trying to record? Check your specs. + check if OBS uses up a lot of your CPU/GPU in task manager (depending on your setup). If it's causing problems try some of the following: -try running OBS in admin mode (this allows it to use stuff in windows to optimize it, which is something they've worked on a lot). -try lowering your output resolution/fps,1080p 60 FPS isn't really needed for recording, 720p 30FPS should work fine in most cases -It could also be a high bitrate. For that, there's a ton of tutorials online, but a high bitrate can cause issues if you don't have the internet to support it. -It can also help to set its priority higher, as that's a problem some people have. -Check if it's running on integrated graphics (sometimes its set like that by deafult)
However, if your specs are low enough, your computer might have issues with running OBS entirely, and you might want to consider other options.
I believe the capture card he was wondering about also had passthrough.
@Dyne_Nuitari hdmi is captured the same way on every console (to my knowledge), he won't need a splitter since the mirabox has passthrough.
@Quivico good idea! you got a link to the particular model you used + a well-priced HDMI spliiter?
