I just realized that I didn't even get the chance to comment before they deleted their posts lmao
Sometimes terrain generation seems to differ despite having the same world seed (e.g. ponds & trees). Nothing unusual that just happens from time to time.
If you want a chart for the "Monsters Hunted" advancement, I found these two charts online: https://imgur.com/a/7gQDf8M Note: just keep in mind that these two charts include the piglin brute which doesn't exist in versions below 1.16.2, and AA 1.16 is preferably played on 1.16.1. So just ignore that if you choose to play AA 1.16 in version 1.16.1.
And for the "Monsters Hunted" advancement here's a list:
• Blaze
• Cave Spider
• Creeper
• Drowned
• Enderman
• Evoker
• Ghast
• Guardian
• Husk
• Magma Cube
• Phantom
• Pillager
• Ravager
• Shulker
• Silverfish
• Skeleton
• Slime
• Spider
• Stray
• Vindicator
• Witch
• Wither Skeleton
• Zombie
• Zombie Pigman
• Zombie Villager
Hopefully this general route helps: https://docs.google.com/document/d/18Iurqcqi3L6LujgMxjO15w66oM_8r5HnFwPNVGR9yk4/edit
@BadPvPKnight also they're definitely a bot. Their post is gone by now, but the post was not relevant, it was an ad, and as well as that their profile was created the same time they were last online as well as when their post was posted (see figure below). Very suspicious. This would virtually always indicate a bot. https://imgur.com/a/eS92fi2
Yes, it will. As long as you're not leaving any footage out it'll be okay.
@AbyssUpdate yeah but that's very inconsistent and inaccurate. Piglins in a bastion are permanent entities meaning that once a bastion with the piglins generates, the piglins are detectable in your render distance through microlensing, despite your distance from the piglins themselves. Whereas mobs in a fortress only start to spawn once you approach a certain distance of the fortress. So if you were to detect a concentration of mobs in your render distance through microlensing which would theoretically indicate a fortress (even though it's not very distinctive), you would virtually already be able to spot the fortress.
@kingdinocharge runners, including myself, are genuinely doing this in runs, and yeah it's pretty 5Head nonetheless
@kingdinocharge I can't tell if this is ironic or not Pepega
Perhaps they e-rayed to look for other bastions to know which quadrants are occupied by bastions (each quadrant can only have one of the two in it), i.e. finding out which quadrants there are not fortresses in, and therefore making a fortress more likely to find.
@richmond resource packs are only allowed if they clearly and uncontroversially provide no advantage over the built-in resource packs. Before you start using a resource pack in speedruns, please do read the detailed rules about resource packs here: http://bombch.us/DOOK Make sure the resource pack you wish to use fits all the criteria stated in the detailed rules about resource packs.
@BlueLlama_ This video covers just about all of it. All the download links are in the description of the video.
Resource packs are allowed only if they clearly and uncontroversially provide no advantage over the built-in resource packs. At first glance, this resource pack doesn't seem to violate this criteria. So yes, you may use this resource pack. If you're using a resource pack, please do read the detailed rules about resource packs here: http://bombch.us/DOOK
I'm pretty sure there is. I believe it's "20w14∞" in the category extensions. https://www.speedrun.com/mcce#20w14
