This is something you should ask in the forum for the game or directly to someone who runs it.

I can agree with that. Sounds good.

That was impressively fast, so thank you. But, ... do we maybe want to put Monkey Wrench and the chapter islands on the next page to the right, like you did with Monkey Wrench for the last layout, just for sake of completion?

So there's a couple of things to bring up in this thread.

First, since things got screwed up a bit by the roll-back at the start of this month, I'd like to reiterate SmashEBrada's request to have Legendary Swords added as an island.

Second, for whatever reason, Poptropica has changed the island layout again, so as long as we're updating the pages to add Legendary Swords, I think we should redo them completely in coordination with the new layout.

Finally, I'd like to (re?)open a discussion as to whether the 10% and 90% rules should be rewritten, and perhaps renamed, to reflect the current list of Membership & non-membership islands, especially if we'll be changing the page run rules to reflect this as well.

Ask this in the forum for the game or DM someone who knows the trick. Much more likely someone who knows the answer will see it that way.

Runs take several days to verify and can take a few weeks if the mod is busy. Be patient.

Ask in the forum for the game or maybe directly message someone who knows how to do it.

They generally don't remove inactive mods since people sometimes just takes breaks from speedrunning or have the site fall of their plate for a while. However, if Frikkinfriks14, or anyone else well involved with the game, is ok with being added as the mod, they can probably be added with little difficulty.

What speedruns have you personally attempted? A number of flash games of varying obscurity. Before I got more into it, I also tried a few Super Mario Bros runs on a low quality emulator I found online (Best time I got was a 6:35 glitchless). How long have you been speedrunning for? About 7 months. What platform do you use? Do you use any specific equipment or software? Flash/Web. I've been considering picking up a PC game when I get a better laptop. OBS is king for recording. For timer, Llanfair or WSplit depending on what OS I'm on. How do you prepare for a speedrun? Get any notes I have together. Sometimes practice some tricks. I usually just jump into it and do runs. How do you stay composed during your run? What do you do if you fail? Nothing I run is too serious or competitive, so I don't mind if I screw up. How seriously do you take speed running? As serious as anyone would be with a hobby they enjoy. I put effort into it frequently and keep looking for ways to improve, as well as looking for others doing the same thing. What do you do in emergency situations for example toilet/snack breaks? None of my runs are particularly long, so I'll typically just do stuff in between. When I know I'm doing something longer, I take care of such business before hand.

What about a category that was never alive in the first place?

A mod should have different methods of contact attached to their profile (Twitch channel, discord, twitter, etc.). Try those. If that doesn't work, you're a bit out of luck unless they see this or someone brings it to their attention.

That said: a ) I remember reading from a previous post that game requests are automatically rejected if the submitter does not have a method of contact in their profile, which I note you do not. b ) A mod is usually in the right for their reasons for rejecting a game. If the reason seems weak, the game has probably been submitted and rejected before. c ) I'm not sure how a glitch could be grounds for rejecting a game unless I'm misinterpreting your statement.

How did you get started here? What/who lured you in? I can't remember exactly which one it was but a news article popped up on my facebook page about there being a new WR in Super Mario Bros (I know it was one of the 4:56 records, but damn if I know which). After another one showed up, I started checking out more speedruns on here and old GDQ runs on Youtube. Eventually I found a couple of games I enjoyed on here, and started speedrunning myself. What's the most important thing in speedrunning? Whats the ultimate goal? Going fast and having records is nice, but I just like to have fun, break games, and sometimes explain crazy things to other people. Do you play or just watch? Why do you like it so much? Both, but watching a lot more than playing. It's fun because speedrunners have a different mindset from casual gamers. We look for ways to avoid collecting items in the game. We find ways to get places earlier than intended. We mess around with items until something stupid happens. In short, it's a lot more intense than regular gaming. Plus, its introduced me to a ton of games I never would have been interested in other wise. How has speedrunning and/or this community impacted your life? It's given me another group of friends I can hang out with and talk about something we all enjoy. We can get together and play and learn about cool games and generally mess around. I also just ran in a marathon for the first time because of my local speedrunning group, and it's definitely one of the coolest things I've ever done.

I don't understand the process behind Youtube uploads, but would uploading the video in shorter chunks really be faster than uploading it all at once, especially if you're overlapping the videos and therefore uploading more minutes of footage overall?

Ask in the forum for the game this is for. They may have special rules.

Go into your browser history and delete the cache. You probably have the old version of the site in there, and it shows you that instead of the new one.

If you have the hat saved in a costume, open up a customizer tab, either by customizing off an npc or by opening a store outfit, then open your closet (the hanger button in the bottom right), and select the costume with the hat, then equip it.

You'll need to be more specific. Report a game issue? Report a problem with the site? Report another user being problematic? Report an absent game mod?
