Colorado, USAI have played the R&C games with and without glitches. Personally, I enjoy playing without glitches more. I have done runs of Glitchless, but I have never and would never push it on anybody else or ask for it to be on the site. I have a huge respect for speedrunning and I've had enough experience to know what pros and cons glitches entail, but for this game I am the minority, and I'm content with it. I will submit my speedrun times with glitches to the boards and keep everything else (which I consider semi-casual speedrunning) to myself.
tldr: i like glitchless but don't fucking add it
I don't think I'll be changing the IL boards to include Small Mario only.

- Adding it to the table for IWs will add it to the entire Level Leaderboard, which includes ILs.
I just think Low% is a great RTA category, but I don't see it fitting in well with the IL table.
The answer is no, absolutely not.
The limit for new categories is 1 per month. I recently added All Levels. Please run that instead.
Small Mario only / Low% is a very gimmicky idea, and nobody takes it seriously.
The point of a speedrun is to go fast. If getting powerups is faster, you get powerups. End of story.

how is 120 star beat the game no restrictions (any%)?
World 1 RTA without 1-3 or 1-A is literally just your best segment in Any% Cannonless. I had the same mindset as Koffingrockz when I made the rules for it. It's the full world, but Any% of each level individually, meaning no coins are required. It follows the same rules as every other IL in the game, except for the fact that it is not ingame time.
It'll surely be a really cool run to see! It'll likely have a lot of route changes in the future, whereas every other category has a set 'fastest route'.
It would also require some unique routing to involve however many star coins are required to take down the signs. I'll add it.
As long as the actual run isn't segmented and it's just the video, that should be acceptable. Having splits or a timer running on the video is always --preferable-- but not required.
It's every level one after another. The only difference is menuing and skipping cutscenes. There's a reason why you're the first to do it.

The mod team has done well so far, except for IL charts being ugly trash and not having proper misc categories and stuff. They seem to be turning a blind eye to those things.
Milk is active. 1Ups is active. Wilko is active.
I haven't seen the other 3 mods do much on this page. I know zelpiku has submitted his own ILs but that's about it.
At first, I thought it was rude of you to even suggest a change, but I guess I'm not the only one with the lingering thought in the back of their head that things could be much much better for this game's page on the site. We just need to find somebody who can recognize the flaws and fix them.
