There's a similar issue with Tomb Raider: Anniversary when different (both high and low) framerate allows certain skips to work. We allow them for segmented runs, but not SS/RTA as you'd have to change the framerate on the fly via some 3rd party tool. AFAIK, SDA doesn't allow this either (they accepted a segmented run using different framerate though).

I'm curious if you could skip at least one tuning "session" and save at least a second or two since some upgrades are nearly worthless. Cause you know, menuing costs time.

Seven: I think you simply had a cop chase during a race and then forgot to reload your save or something like that. I think I've seen a similar issue when I was doing my Carbon segmented run, but it didn't matter since you don't have to do any cop chases.

Let me ask you something - during those 3 minutes doing cop chase, will your heat level raise to level 2? If not and your bounty didn't change, you may continue.

Oh, I see. You've already done the bounty and you're going to switch to Elise, anyway. That should be okay if you're not gonna do any more cop chases. It will still be a discrepancy, but with no effect to the time, if I understand it correctly. Make sure you make a note about it in your comments, though. People might get suspicious, you know.

What do you mean you can't try anything on the car? Does changing your color lowers the heat or so? I don't remember.

They give you 68/68 - that's enough for me :P It's not called 100%, because there's no specific beginning and end, except completing everything.

It's hard to define what should be misc category and what not.

What do others think? I feel like creating categories based on some last event/mission just because it would be shorter is weird. I don't recall ever seeing that before, but feel free to post an example.

The problem is CS has no endgame point, so it's logical to complete everything. If anything, the category should be named "Challenge 68" and put into misc categories imho.

Just wondering, how do you guys feel about turning off motion blur? I absolutely hate that effect, but the only way to turn it off is via registers. You can't do it in game.

east: From what I understood, there are two events 32 (one in each mode) and both of them unlock the same reward video and the same title "hot pursuit champion", as much as it sounds weird. So you can complete either one of them, depending on which is faster. It's entirely up to you which mode you choose. It's basically any% run with full ending.

The current categories are based on titles, but we can change it to be less confusing.

No, it's not the ultimate rank in this game. I said it's kinda the ultimate rank in racing games. When you play a tournament in most racing games, you usually end up being "world champion". The same is here, except that can continue the game by playing extra bonus events that unlock some additional stuff.

No, completing event 30 and becoming world champion DOES NOT finish the game, but it's such a strong point in the game that we can make a misc category out of it.
